What's new

Gauntlet thrown down in PHL

Now the word "190's" opens up an entire new can of worms!!! Looking over the current IAM contract I see no mention of those aircraft types in there. I realize the are to be flown by mainline but who is going to work them? I assume mainline mechs, but when they come up for heavy, where do they go? Could they be covered by the now famous "scope"? With regards to heavy maintenence and the current contract it seems specific in terms of Airbus and Boeing, but no mention of any other types.

AP TECH HE IS ON THE PHONE....LOLOLOLOOLLMFAO.
THE iam DID NOT TELL HE THAT!!!!!!
700 you know the 737 flt???????????????

HAY 700 WANT A BEER TO CLEAR YOUR HEAD...?

and for those that donot like CAPS yes Iam YELLING.

How many times does it need to be explained to you before you will actually comprehend it?

A change in representation does not open the CBA for Section 6 negotiations.

If there is an election and the ibt wins, all they will do is adminster the IAM/US CBA.

Can you understand that?

The FAs cannot be replaced like the mechanics can, go look at NWA and how the AMTs strike has barely done anything to harm NWA's operation.

While you are looking at the NWA situation also look up how the IAM treated the union members of NWA. 🙂

well then the cwa got their contract changed?? the afa is working on a new negotiation for a new contract for the combined unit

when will you understand that if the COMPANY and a UNION decide to open up new sect 6 they CAN and WILL!!!

And ALPA, PFAA and TWU all did the say, they all crossed the picket line.

Amfa has no friends in the labor movement.

No, the CWA negotiated a transition agreement, not a Section 6 contract, better go check your facts.

ALPA and AFA are both negotiating transition agreements, not a whole new section 6 contract.

Don't let the facts get in your way.

US has all ready informed all the unions there will be NO section 6 negotiations, dude, you really need to educate yourself.

The Interim Transition Agreement between the Association and management (completed in December 2005) states that the union will notify management of the method of seniority integration, and that management will accept that method as long as it is cost neutral and doesn't staple any group to the bottom of the list. The notification we gave management last week meets those requirements and we now consider the seniority integration issue settled for all US Airways passenger service employees.

awausairtech understands what you are saying 7. Let's try to add some knowledge to your "IAM programmed" mind. The IBT will administer the CBA's during the court procedures, if court procedures are required to start negotiations again, but then they will be in negotiations. You have been told this several times but refuse to listen, so there it is again. Stop and think now......... 🙂

Apparently he doesn't

Court has no jurisdiction in the matter.

Keep trying.

It says we overhaul more planes then you do,

Well look at LETTER OF AGREEMENT #3 UNDER THE CURRANT IBT CONTRACT. AND SH!# THE IAM CONTRACT IS NOT UP TILL 2009 10 11...

THEN LOOK WE HAVE A CONTEACT UP NOW AND A NEW SCOPE, WHAT DO THE IAM HAVE?????? IT Sucks........... :down:let me pull his leg some more lol

LMFAO

HMMMMMMMMMMMMM WHAT WILL THE NEW COMPANY DO WITH THE IBT CAB.................????????????????

Amazing you fix airplanes.

A change in representation does not change the CBA, if there is an election and the ibt wins, all they would do is administer the IAM/US CBA.

Why is it so hard for you to understand this?

You really are in need of some serious RLA, Unions and NMB education.

And you have no new scope language and US has cancelled the ibt negotiations as you will now all fall under the IAM/US CBA since the NMB ruled single carrier status.

Don't let the facts get in your way.

TIME WILL TELL BUT YOU WILL STILL BE THE PARTS MAN AND WE WILL STILL HAVE OUR A/P LICENSES. :bleh:

AND I STAND BY THE IBT.

And US East overhauls planes and US west doesn't.

History has all ready shown us what happens in a change or representation in regard to a CBA.

I HATE TO TELL YOU THIS BUT WE ALL ARE ONE.
AND IF THE IBT DOES ONE C-CK IT STAYS IN HOUSE...
