Some feel it is moral to own another human.  Some feel it is moral for women to be subservient.   Morality is fluid.  What you believe is moral will not match what others feel is moral.  That might be a reason why law very rarely deals deals with morality.

Do you even read what you right?  Expanding freedoms is a bad thing just because it disagrees with your morals?  I am glad that people like you were not around when suffrage, civil rights, interracial marriage and other such 'moral laws were being reversed.
 
The 14th amendment says nothing about moral laws it only says that all laws must be equal for all people in the US.
