This is the problem with the ignore feature. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

When you two do your thing, I get pages that look like this.
and none of it is on topic...

For what it's worth, I fired up Grindr on a CLT layover and found the boys to be complete uggos. RDU however, is a completely different story.

737823 is right tho, it's a shame that the voter referendum banning gay marriage was approved by a landslide, indicating that NC is largely a cultural backwater full of hicks in the sticks

There was a large campaign against Amendment 1 the right wingers showed up too vote.

So since CA voters also approved a ban on gay marriage, does that make everyone a bigot or backwards also?

Guess you haven't been to Charlotte and seen all the magnificent Art Museums either?

Charlotte has four, quite large ones and one is even an African-American. Art museum and why didn't you say anything about CA? They passed the same law banning gay marriage.

Charlotte is 150 years, at least, behind the Northeast and parts of the Midwest in cultural institutions. Good luck catching up.

Guess you dont realize Charlotte dates back to the revolutionary war and was a major US Mint which still stands today was a major factor in the gold industry back in the day.

Look up Capt James Jack and May 20th.

The May 20th Society is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that endeavors to capture and celebrate Charlotte’s rebellious and visionary spirit and history—a history that began on May 20, 1775, when two dozen prominent civic leaders signed and approved The Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence (MeckDec) – the first declaration of independence in America! Since 2003, The May 20th Society has been raising funds to bring history alive in Charlotte with its speaker series, noon commemoration of the MeckDec, unveiling of The Spirit of Mecklenburg statue and creation of the Charlotte Liberty Walk. Join us to celebrate the history of the MeckDec!

One of the British Generals even called the rebels a hornets nest.

Gee look Charlotte had the first declaration of independence in  US History.

And how long and where in North Carolina did you live so you can be irreligious and judge people, you are a hypocrite.
Been to CLT for meetings not a fan of the area, although there are a few nice restaurants and the people are pretty laid back. As Ad said the results speak for themselves, CLT and NC doesn't beckon tolerance and acceptance like say MA does for the LGBT community.

Agreed. It's unfortunate but I think the momentum has built up. People are taught to hate, the younger ones growing up nowadays are exposed to households with two same sex parents who raise beautiful successful children and hopefully think nothing of it.

That proves Charlotte isn't a cultural wasteland?

How come they didn't mention the NASCAR Hall of Fame, and the African American Museum?

Guess you are blind, the opening photo on the page:
