I read through the COTUS and saw no mention of morality. Can you point it out to me?xUT said:Well Quaq,
That’s horse ####. This isn’t a ‘race, color, creed, natural origin’ issue.
It’s a morality issue.
What is immoral and what is moral?
Read a commentary this morning about the gooberment opting out of morality laws. (Sorry lost the link as it disappeared… Go Figure)
Morality and ethics go hand in hand and we can’t have one without the other.
IMHO, our degradation in morality is directly proportionate to our degradation in ethics.
Roman morality was a degrading moving target, how did that work out?
😛
Who's morality do you want to use? Yours I assume? I know you do not want mine. Some feel it is moral to own another human. Some feel it is moral for women to be subservient. Morality is fluid. What you believe is moral will not match what others feel is moral. That might be a reason why law very rarely deals deals with morality.
It's my body and my life. I do not want your morality having any affect on my life.
As far as morals and ethics, not sure how expanding freedom can be anything but good.
