If you want to see a horrible product of a school go hang around a college university and observe all the hippie libtard teachers there warping our youths mind.
Why go there when you can provide an excelent example?

It is Un-American to try to use the government to impose a culture change and that is exactly what is happening here.

Gays are merely claiming the rights they already had. Politicians are exploiting this as they did and do with the Civil Rights act and blacks. Now we have gay bashers like you to go along with the race baiters starting with Obama himself. SSDD.

So explain away all the conservative leaning people that went to these universities.

I saw zero "hippie libtard" professors (you used the word teachers) at the catholic university I attended.

My guess is that you have never attended a major university that offers 4-year degrees and post graduate education. If you had, you would not be making the above statement.

I was thinking along the the lines of home schooling and/or non accredited private schooling.

Most of my professors were quite conservative an I went to state universities in SoCal.

AK and AZ laws bite the dust.

I think that makes 31 now?  Not sure.  I lost count.

I think Horns rational is peculiar.  He seems to be saying that the 14th was passed to protect agianst discrimination against race, and gender but sexual orientation is not addressed so it is OK to discriminate against them.  He is not arguing that it is not discrimination in the first place but that it is OK to discrimination since it is not prohibited.  That is just plain weird in my opinion.

I do respect him in that he realizes that the courts disagree with him and he is droping it because it is unethical for him to go up against them.

This is going to be interesting when a government tells you you are required under law to violate your religous beliefs or do time.

For years, those in favor of same-sex marriage have argued that all Americans should be free to live as they choose. And yet in countless cases, the government has coerced those who simply wish to be free to live in accordance with their belief that marriage is the union of a man and a woman.
Just this weekend, a case has arisen in Idaho, where city officials have told ordained ministers they have to celebrate same-sex weddings or face fines and jail time.

Isn't that a similar tactic used by ISIS to convert people to Islam?

See this is the "Thing" that has a whole lot of folks up in arms over Homosexual anything.

The gay community wants to have the same rights that all other citizens enjoy and I think most would agree to "Live & let live". I know for myself my attitude is if you ain't sleeping with me I really don't care who you sleep with or marry for that matter.

Where I absolutely have an issue is what some conservative talk show hosts call "The Homo-Promo Agenda". The notion that we all have to accept an alternative lifestyle or we are somehow flawed human beings, even if accepting the notion violates ones religious beliefs.

IMO, Gays and Lesbians should be champions of individual Liberty and insist on the religious right (or any religion) be afforded the same rights they were denied for so many years. Conversely, we've been taught that the church is a haven for sinners. Well to hear some tell it, homosexuality is a HUGE sin. So if in fact the church is indeed a haven for sinners then it is the church who should be welcoming in the Gay community. Unless of course you find it easier to hate what you don't understand.

The "thing" in Houston where 5 preachers have had their "speeches" subpoenaed is ludicrous and IMO will create a backlash that may well send the gay community back into the closet for many years.

You may not know this but Oral Roberts tried to start his own record label, but the holes in the records kept healing over.

I think the entire idea of a ‘gay agenda’ is only a conservative talking point to stir up the masses.  None of my friends have ever heard of this agenda.  All they want are the same rights that everyone else enjoys.

What rights are being denied to religions?  Who says you have to accept gays?  The only thing anyone has to accept is that they are entitled to the same rights as anyone else.  I do not accept the beliefs of the KKK but I do accept the fact that they have the right to do as they choose so long as they do not violate anyone elses rights.

As far as the case in Houston is concerned, it’s not even in the news anymore.  Already forgotten.
