Not to put to fine a point on this issue but fossil and genetic records seem to show that humans and lesser primates have a common ancestor. In other words, we are related but not descended from apes. A distinction but I believe a necessary one.

One of the things I've always found mildly amusing is the debate over evolution or creation.

Evolutionists would have us believe that some 4.5 to 5 million years ago we had and "Big Bang" and the universe farted and cast up off creating our solar system. Then over time living organisms somehow magically began growing in the primordal ooze and ultimtely became Man & Woman along with all of the other critters.

Creation would have us believe that a Supreme Being created Adam & Eve and a talking snake along with the rest of the critters.

So do you want to go with the talking snake story or the cute yet equally silly story of evolution.

Just curious if that's the same science that determined the Earth was flat? Or that in the early 21st Century we were a grave danger of an Ice Age?

Then Al Gore invented the Internet and old Carbon Footprint Al said science told him that earth hung in the balance due to global warming. He then flew off in his private jet to his 25,000 sq ft mansion paid for with tabacco to write more crap. Is that the kind of science we're to believe in?
