If it is proven Z was attacked by TM (and it's starting to look that way), it really doesn't matter what Z was doing as long as he didn't start a physical altercation with the kid. Being attacked, he had every right to shoot the SOB, white, black, green, purple, or any other color one can think of.

Remember - the photos plastered all over the papers are of a child about 13 years old, not 17 and over six feet tall, wandering around in a neighborhood he didn't live in with a bag of (probably) stolen stuff and a screwdriver (probably to gain entry to houses) and dressed as the stereotypical black thug. With the probability of others being armed, the sensible thing to do was be polite. He had other brushes with the law also and now, the parents want sympathy because they raised a cretin.

I don't a see a conviction for anything but I do see Zimmerman having to leave the area to keep from getting killed by the Black Panthers.

Yes, the family and attorney are upset that this information is coming to light...............wonder why ?
If Zimmerman is a "White-Hispanic" that would make Nobama a "White-African-American"..............correct ?

That's fine and dandy except for the fact that Zimmerman was following Martin. If someone is following you what would be your response? Do you want this person knowing where you live? Waiting for an opportunity to rob you? Kill you? What are you going to do? I can see someone turning on the pursuer and trying to stop it. If you are pursing someone how can you then say that you felt threatened?

I also have not heard about the screw driver or bag or "probably stolen stuff". Seems you are lying through you're teeth unless you have something to support that accusation. Do you? Mr Zimmerman is not a cop. He cannot investigate or arrest someone for past crimes. No one can arrest you for a crime you have not committed unless one can prove conspiracy to commit. Mr Zimmerman had no idea who he was chasing or what the person had done previously. Wearing a hoody is not illegal in this country. Walking on a public street at night in the rain wearing said hoody is also not illegal.

What the Panthers did is at the very least stupid at worst criminal. I would think something like that would be illegal but apparently not. Based on your version of events, true not with standing, Zimmerman ought to be given a medal and promoted to police chief. the reality of the situation might be a bit different but don't let reality or the facts get in the way.

No idea. Look it up if you are so concerned about how people are killed or why. Let's go with 50% just for giggles. Unlikely it is that high but who knows. That's still 7,000 a year killed for non-drug related reasons. That is not really the point I was making. You seemed to indicate that the lives of soldiers killed in combat was more important than the loss of "one life". I was merely pointing out that there are more people killed every year than have been lost in the entire Iraq/Afghanistan conflict. The thing is it is common place and accepted so we do not worry about it.

On the search that you linked I found 2 pictures with three people in hoodies. I also saw pictures of women, children, a horse, shoes, a few old white guys and I think the bottom right picture is on Glen Beck but I'm not sure. When you look at the search I presented the pictures are pretty much the same. Point being that black thugs pretty much look like white thugs who look like any other thug.

That makes perfect sense that a 17 yr old kid is going to turn on a guy chasing him who is armed. Assuming that this is true, Zimmerman was still chasing a guy and if he felt threatened he should have bailed and let the cops do their job. According to what the lead investigator said they do not have any witnesses that saw the whole thing. No one knows who started what or who threw the first punch. Seems the only thing they know for certain is that Zimmerman was pursuing Martin, Zimmerman had a gun and Martin is dead. Due to the stand your ground law, no one was arrested because there was no one to contradict Zimmerman's story because the only other witness is dead.

There is no out cry because the case is under investigation and they have no suspects. The police do not know who set the boy on fire. The boy did not recognize his attackers. They know who shot Martin and did not arrest him. Had they known who set the Kansas kid on fire and let them walk free I am pretty sure you would hear a bit of a out cry.

I think it is a safe bet from what I have heard on the 911 calls that race played a part in Zimmermans decision process. Had it been a white kid with an umbrella I doubt the out come would have been the same. I think the cops involved were just handed a crap case, they did not investigate till the story hit the news and the stand your ground law pretty much left them with their hands tied.

I still think though that ZIMM could get hit with a Civil Rights Violation, soley because of him following TM.

That may be but there are a few things you are over looking or ignoring.

1. There are no suspects in custody because the police do not know who did it and they are investigating.

2. The difference in the Zimmerman/Martin case is that they know who shot Martin and no one was placed in custody, no one was arrested and no one is out on bail. Zimmerman was questioned and that was it. They did not eve start a full scale investigation until the case hit the news.

So , since Zimmerman wasn't placed in custody, wasn't arrested and he isn't out on bail and was only questioned means he will "Never" be accused of committing a crime , in this case......right ?

In six months, when a non-full scale investigation had finished up, if it had been given the chance, there's no way in hell Zimmerman would have been accused of a crime being committed !

This is an excuse for a certain group of people to ask for blood, no matter who's blood it is !

And no, I'm not saying this case should not be investigated but, do Police "ALWAYS" make an immediate arrest in every case they're investigating ?..........didn't think so !
