Following someone and approaching them when armed is akin to poking a bear in my opinion. Zimmerman should have stayed in his car and waited for police. Martin had done nothing that violated the law. There is no reason that he should have been dead. Had Zimmerman exercised even a little bit of common sense and waited we would not have this conversation.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, 2 separate experts in forensic voice identification, the voice on the tape yelling for help is not Zimmerman. Starting to look like Zimmerman might have some explaining to do.

I've been busy reading. I've found out some things that are from what I believe to be credible sources, Huff Post, Townhall, Newsmax among them. Below are excerpts from multiple articles from the above publications. The race baiting prick of 1600 Pennsylvania and his lapdogs Sharpton and Jackson should be ashamed, Alas I can assure you they aren't NOPE folks more and more with each passing this is looking like a Lynching that would make Byron De La Beckwith and his KKK buddies proud.

Zimmerman and his wife -- it is now being discovered -- have been tutoring and mentoring at-risk African American youths for years, building into the lives of these at-risk children virtues and principals to live by.

Zimmerman didn't target Martin because of race. As a community watch volunteer, and as a licensed concealed-carry gun owner, Zimmerman had been concerned for some time about the amount of violent crime, break-ins, burglaries, and other felonies committed in his community. In recent months, skinny tall guys in hoodies had been terrorizing the homeowners in the area. Since the hoodie was pulled over his head, Zimmerman had no reasonable way to target merely an African American youth, but he did see a skinny tall kid -- that he did not recognize -- and felt if he saw something, he should say something.

According to 911 dispatch, Zimmerman was told that he did not need to follow Martin any further than he had. (Not, as some have reported, that he was actually instructed not to follow.) According to Zimmerman, the police report, and as many as six witnesses: Zimmerman -- after getting off the phone -- retreated from his shadowing of Martin and returned to his SUV. It is unclear as to why, but it is confirmed by multiple people who observed that Martin then turned and stalked Zimmerman. Just when Zimmerman had gotten back to his vehicle, it is reported by witnesses that Martin violently assaulted Zimmerman. And according to Robert Zimmerman, appearing on CNN on Thursday evening, Martin attempted to pull Zimmerman's gun. Quickly the tussle turned serious. Both men in a fight for control of the firearm, one of them was shot seconds later.

The police -- once on the scene -- asked neighbors what they had seen and heard. As many as six witnesses confirmed portions of Zimmerman's overall account. Even so, Zimmerman was handcuffed, given medical treatment to clean up his wounds, taken to the police station, questioned, and released because his account was -- according to those who did the early investigating -- consistent with the evidence.

Now a grand jury is looking into the matter, four different governmental levels of our nation's law enforcement are looking into it. Police reports are being leaked to the press, and when every final bit of CSI material is cataloged a report will be made.

While one can make an argument that FL's "Stand Your Ground" law is flawed, one can also argue far more convincingly that the commentary made by a sitting President where at best inappropriate and at worst blatant playing of the race card at an opportune moment politically.

Either way, A sitting President has made a fair trial nearly impossible. Additionally Barack Obama and Mr Zimmerman shre roughly the same percentage of "White Blood" so that being the case it's merely another case of minority on Minority crime. Assuming a crime was committed, which as noted as yet to occur.

Most of what I have read seems to indicate that the witnesses in question only heard bits and pieces of what transpired. They were not witnesses in the classical sense and even if they were, witnesses are notoriously unreliable. The Stanford police do have a statement from one secret witness which as of yet has not been released. Forensic voice analysis done by two experts have all but ruled out Zimmerman as the voice crying for help but without a voice print from Martin were unable to determine if the voice was his. Since there were only two people involved it stand to reason that if the voice was not Zimmermans it must have been Martins. Since this case has been all over the news, Obamas comments have little or nothing to do with Zimmerman getting a fair trial. The only evidence that Zimmerman was going back to his vehicle is from Zimmerman. How valid that information is depends on if you believe Zimmerman. Martin would have had no way of knowing what Zimmermans intent was. It is not clear if Zimmerman made it clear to Martin that he was retreating and had no intention of using force on Martin or not. No one seems to have any proof as to what was discussed between Zimmerman and Martin. If you want to make conjectures, Zimmerman has three assault charges against him (one against a cop) and was armed with no training. He had pursued an individual and had made assumptions about his actions without any basis or training. Martin and Zimmerman had a confrontation. What if Zimmerman started for his weapon and Martin decided that his life was in jeopardy? What if Martin decided I either go for the gun or I die? We can play the what if game all day long. I think on thing that is safe to say is that had Zimmerman kept his butt planted in his seat and just reported the suspicious behavior to the police, Martin might not be dead and Zimmerman might not be getting persecuted/prosecuted.

The stand your ground law in FL is fatally flawed. The stand your ground laws that I have read so far are based on forcible entry and as in the IL statute, have wording to prevent the situation that occurred in FL.

It can't "Play out" in court! That's the whole freaking point. As one of my less enlightened friends says, "Super (Insert N-Word) saw to that."

I frankly don't care one wit about Martin or Zimmerman. What is important for me is that no matter if George Zimmerman shot him, butchered Martin like a hog and put him in a freezer he's entitled to a fair trial. He's not going to get that now.

Suppose it's the other way around and Martin attacked Zimmerman and it was a justifiable Homicide? Zimmerman is a marked man.

WHY??? Because our AssClown President just couldn't riesist playing the race card for political gain. Makes me hope the birthers are right. What A piece of human garbage we have for a President. He's the one lighting this fiery cross of racial hatred and he's to blame for any ensuing riots

The fact remains that no one knows what really happened. Sad but true. Everyone believes what suits them. The media is notorious for stirring the pot by making speculative stories spectacular. Let's call this situation what it is, a racial issue to cry racism in your favor.

We still have no grey area, don't be fooled. Media is a propaganda lie, and stories are still edited in their favor. Remember when Spiro Agnew caught heat, because he talked about the media showing police brutality, but not showing what the alleged victim had done?

Here's a true story:

Circa 1999 in an upstateNY city, a policeman shot an unarmed black man in the back and killed him. This started as a domestic call. The man had allegedly done nothing wrong. Why wasn't there national, or even local rage?

See nobody has heard that story because the media went on vacation. Sad but true.

In case you are wondering, the cop was black.

So whatever did happen, we won't get the truth from any media, or Us vs. Them crowd.
