I haven't rushed to judgement on the case. That's been done by others who chose to try the case in the media based on manufactured evidence such as the edited 911 tapes and doctored photos not showing Zimmerman's injuries, and people like Sharpton who chose to make it about race. Heck, even Pharaoh jumped into it, just like he did with the Harvard professor...

How exactly did you determine that the facts that are coming out (what facts btw) are making it appear that he really did act in self defense? Did you contact anyone involved in the case to advise them of your analysis? I am curious, what kind of wound(s) did Martin get? Offensive or defensive?

I contacted someone close to the case and it was determined that Zimmer's wounds were "NOT" self-defense !

After pulling his gun out for no reason what-so-ever, other than the fact he is a "WHITE" Hispanic, Hey, it just what "WHITE" Hispanics do, and shooting Martin he walked back to his car and tripped over the curb and broke the fall with his nose !
When the pain was too much to bare,from his self-inflicted broken nose, he punched himself in the eyes, screaming to himself, "How could you break your own nose you idiot!" Once he settled down, he looked at himself in the car mirror and decided maybe people wouldn't notice his two black eyes and broken nose if he gave himself a hair cut and reached for the razor in the glove box, which was determined, from forensics, caused the lacerations on his scalp !

Hmm, A more likely explanation was George was trying to tire Travon out by allowing his face as a punching bag. That way he wouldn't have had to use deadly force. Randall "Tex" Cobb used the same failed strategy against Larry Holmes.

Two police reports written the night that George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin said that Zimmerman had a bloody face and nose, according to police reports made public today.
The reports also note that two witness accounts appear to back up Zimmerman's version of what happened when they describe a man on his back with another person wearing a hoodie straddling him and throwing punches.

The leaked autopsy report (if accurate) indicated that there was one small abrasion on Martins finger that could indicate that Martin hit Zimmerman. It does not indicate if the wound was defensive or offensive in nature.


Could be that Martin approached Zimmerman and told him to back off and Zimmerman attacked Martin. Could be that Martin circled around Zimmerman and ambushed Zimmerman. Was that done out of fear or aggression? Unknown as well.


The only person who could have contradicted Zimmerman is dead. Zimmerman is probably screwed because SYG law that screwed up the investigation from the get go. Had it been investigated properly when it all happened, Zimmerman probably would have been on bail and a trial would have taken place as normal. Sharpton et-al never would have heard about it and Zimmerman probably would have received a fair trial.

The investigation started the moment the black and white called out on scene.
Prosecution said somewhere SYG wouldn't apply.

That is not my understanding of what transpired. There was a cursory investigation at the time of the homicide, it was placed on the back burner and that was that. Of course the prosecution is going to say that SYG does not apply. Having it apply would make their job much more difficult given that the FL version of SYG is mobile to a public place.

Gun Control activists decided to attack Stand Your Ground under the premise that Zimmerman chased down Martin to shoot him.

Now that the truth seems to be coming out and pointing the other direction. Zimmerman claimed to be going out to get a house number (plausible... so few houses keep the ones on the house lit, more and more subdivisions have grouped mailboxes vs. individual mailboxes at each house, and many HOA's don't allow house numbers to be painted on the curb lest the neighbors be offended by some paint that doesn't match the approved color palette)

It's growing more and more likely that SYG does apply. The 911 tapes show Zimmerman calling for help 14 times. Martin's father says it's not his son's voice on the tapes. Martin's autopsy indicates a gunshot from inches away. Zimmerman's injuries were not trivial. Martin's (aside from the gunshot) were.

Self defense. This is exactly what SYG was created to cover.

Where's Al Sharpton now? Why no comments about Martin's autopsy showing THC in his blood? Were the Skittles and tea for his little brother, or was it just preparing for the munchies?....

I like how the HuffNPuff starts talking conspiracy about how certain facts are being leaked by the defense.

Why no comment on all the accusations levied during the "public debate" which was based entirely on emotions?

The Racial Malfeasance committed by Sharpton, Jackson, and supported by several members of Congress and the White House is coming home to roost....

This should have never been an issue about race. Period. It's a tragic event, but despite all the hype, it all comes down to a 17 year old kid deciding to get into it with someone who was armed.
