I have never been a fan of Delta for various reasons. I for one would do anything to have this transaction blow up. I think the website shows Delta has many loyal employees which is good for any company, but it still doesn't change My Position one way or another. The disruption and upheaval of this proposed merger would be bad for the employees, pax and communities served.

The feelings mutual. You can keep your filthy Airbuses with no satellite tv. Your hubs suck as well. And this says nothing of the fact that your cheap ass boss has managed to fit an extra 2 rows of seats in your 757's compared to ours. Keep US scare your US scare.

No, the sad reality is that (s)he is correct.

US-scares hubs stink (this means you, CLT), instead of "low cost" the airline is better characterized as "no features". Basic service is overall, basic, yet frustratingly inconsistent, varying from basic to no "service". Any "service" is solely due to the employees as there is no infrastructure to support such, other than promoting empty promises.

Get over it. Just because DAL is still learning to fly, at least their clients can enjoy the ride.

Like your md80s are new and clean. Your hubs are no better or worse and you have direct tv in a handful of planes. Typical delta employee. Trying to make there company more valuable then they really are.

Wow. Nothing like starting a possibly accurate tirade with an opinion that is shared by so few individuals.

CLT remains the most humane hub in the south. Fewest delays for air traffic, seldom grinds to a complete halt like other hubs. Thirty minute connections are usually quite safe.

Had the diatribe been based on PHL there would be much more basis in your other opinions. This Chairman made it from January, 2005 to December, 2006 without venturing through Philly. If not for CLT, I would be on another airline.
