The buttons are a way for management to have the employees "fight" this takeover and band together, even though many of them are really not sure exactly what they are fighting against.

Good point....it also gives the DL employees a common enemy...that way they ignore the shafting they are getting at the bankruptcy court and DL management looks friendlier.

i have a simple bag tag as well. everyone else (and their bags) looks like christmas trees with all of the different pins and stuff. i worked with someone who has her boyfriends navy wings on instead of her US wings... ugh.
