Sounds lke we, as a group that's been there done that, need to get the message out farther and louder re: the kind of trash in the corporate offices and their love for mechanics and other "lowlifes" that work for a living.

Regrettably, Over 20 years ago when I entered the aviation industry and every other year since then, every aviation group or association has predicted the same thing. Never has panned out that way.

 

[TIME FOR CHANGE]

Mergers and bankrupt carriers have prevented a shortage in years past I dont see much more bankruptcy or mergers happening in the future unless AA throws in the towel... even then it would be a reorginization at best. Not to many people I know of want to work nights weekends and holidays for the money we are getting your better off working for the transit or the cops at least the pay and benefits are better. 😉
