Hello TULSA brothers!

How are you guys and gals doing?

Are you nearing the $500,000,000.00 goal in savings yet?

I sure hope you meet that goal soon. AA management needs it to pay the top 1000 execs their bonuses!

If were in their shoes, I would say "why bother reaching the $500 mark!"

Nothing against the Tulsa folks. I just hope they wake up and realize that the TWU/AA pillow talk game has been played at all of our expense!

A news story in USA Today said its a cash bonus related to what our stock did as compared to others. It had to do as well or better just not worse but if this is true and its a cash bonus then where is the money coming from? Why would it be related to what other companies stocks are doing and not triggered by a certain profit level? We all know the answer its a way of getting a bonus even though your managing a company thats losing money!

Can you say Enron? I'm sure that the stock price at AMR has not been going up on its own over the last few weeks. I would be willing to bet that somebody has leaked a little bit of information to the right places to make the stock price go up at this particular time. I'm sure that chicken little cashed in on a small amount money don't you think. What a coincidence it was that jim and the boys knew about this in 2003 when he was telling everybody to pull there pants down for the company. After all he was telling the membership that we had to help the company out so don't bother grabing your knees just go a little bit farther and grab your ankles. Little jimmy would not lie to us would he?

My goal and "hope" is that the TULSA folks and many others realize thay are under pressure to come up with $500 million in savings so the 1000 managment can get nice payouts!

No too much to ask for, is it, Bill?

Who's under pressure? I'm not under pressure. Are you? I'm just doing my job. With the hard work I (and other "willing" participants if you will) have put in, I must say that I feel some satisfaction that we are doing well. And about the "bonuses" I don't think anyone expected the stock to do as well as it has so that and the $500 mil (which has not been met at this time) is unrelated to me at this point. We're just trying to get the job done is all.

Come up with something better next time will you??!!!

No too much to ask for, is it, Bill?
What was it you were asking for anyway???

What pressure?

What if you don't meet the $500 million target? Was that just a frivolous number? Should it have just as well been $500 billion since it means nothing?

By the way I was asking that the TULSA folks wake up and realize that they are being put into a position to help the company turn a profit at the same time 1000 execs are getting "theirs!"

Maybe you didn't participate in the "Shared Sacrifice."
remember what the mechanics gave up under the threat of bankruptcy? 17.5% paycut, one week vacation loss, holidays paid and holiday pay, sick time?

Did management give up what we gave up? Their net paycut was 7% compared to our 17.5%.

You're the one who needs to come up with a better argument!
