Of course, they got it wrong. 1000-1400 systemwide.Philly 5 PM news just was talking about Usairways is hiring 1000 new agents in Philly to help with the all the issues Usairways has with ticketing ect....I wonder what the start pay is?
I thought it sounded kinda high for just Philly...Of course, they got it wrong. 1000-1400 systemwide.
They need to hire that many...remember HP is known for the revolving door.
Saw that also here in Philly. What they actually said was they were hiring 1200 systemwide and a couple of dozen would be in Philly.Philly 5 PM news just was talking about Usairways is hiring 1000 new agents in Philly to help with the all the issues Usairways has with ticketing ect....I wonder what the start pay is?
We're always so far behind the curve that I dont think we'll ever get to "proper" staffing since they quit as soon as they can hire and replace.
Spot on Tad!!!
A "couple of dozen" is inconsisent with what other (more reliable) sources are reporting - more like 800 between PHL and CLT. When asked by a news reporter during the Earnings Conference Call if ANY of the new employees would be assigned to PIT, both Kirby and Parker replied, in a very hesitating manner, that they essentially didn't recall at the moment.Saw that also here in Philly. What they actually said was they were hiring 1200 systemwide and a couple of dozen would be in Philly.
how did CLT get that many when PHL nn it more?????85 cust svc in PHL.......100 in CLT...........rest everywhere else.....PHL needs a lot more than 85 but I guess beggars can't be choosy.............
That's because wages are Cheaper in CLT than it would be in PHL.how did CLT get that many when PHL nn it more?????
Does that mean hiring to fill the vacancies and then hiring an additional 85? Wouldn't that make an impact or if is even that too little too late?85 cust svc in PHL.......100 in CLT...........rest everywhere else.....PHL needs a lot more than 85 but I guess beggars can't be choosy.............
