Why dontcha let the moderators moderate as they see fit.

If you do not like the tone of recent posts, start with your own posts and keep them of a more civil nature.

Emotionalistic rants and name calling taunts are a poor substitute for reasoned and intelligent thoughts.

Remember you have to fly with, or fly around many of the people reading your posts. So leave out the personal attacks, and go after your opponent's words instead. (if so inclined).
