What's new

How about another "Occupy" protest

The COTUS is just fine. It's how whack jobs try to twist it and interpret it that's wrong.

Your type is no better than the Taliban, who set out to eliminate all forms of religion other than their own. And make no mistake -- athiesm is a religion.

How is the COTUS being twisted? The 1st separates region and state. The 14th states that all people must be treated equally under the law.

No one is trying eliminate religion. We are just tired of your type trying to interjected it into all manner of public life. No law has been proposed much less passed that inhibits you in any way from practicing any religion in private.

Athiesm is no more a religion and bald is a hair color.

Just so long as we are clear that they did not fight to support the tyranny of the majority of the minorities.

You saying the 10th mountain division attacked these indians because they wouldn't convert to Christianity?

Knock it OFF Dell, you KNOW exactly what I'm saying !

Uncle SAM Violates every know definition of decency and HUMAN RIGHTS, and steals Big Mountain !

Things remain "cool" for the USA for a while, and THEN THEY and the "so called (local) public" are pissed off because they're INDIGNANT because someone wants to "mess" with " T H I E R " rights to " T H I E R " Land !

Gimme' a friggin' BREAK Dell, will ya !

seatacus, Not sure why they were "given" half of flathead lake. To (try) to clear thier(USA) conscience perhaps ?? 😛h34r:

I do not understand your link between a Jihad and the topic we are discussing.

Not sure where the talk host is getting his numbers and I have not conducted known poll so I have no idea what the make up is of any party.

Way to skirt around my response......................typical liberal maneuver !

Southwind,....No Comment on MY post of 1:12 today ? Hmmm !

Since you know everything concerning this matter, who "OWNS" the land that the 25x25 parcel resides on and for the last 50+ years has been "LEASED" out ? Indians or Feds ?

Sure. What ever you say. Lets review.

You make some.comment about a Jihad in regards to a US political situation. I still have no idea how those two things relate.

Then you make a comment about a talk show host who you did not name who made a statistical comment about a group of people but did not provide any statistical data to back up the supposition.

And you are accusing me of dancing around? That is what the rest of us call irony.

Never said I knew E V E R Y detail on the matter, but who's ever arguing over the Mountain, or the statue of the prophet J,........................ Does NOT OWN the LAND.

The Land was created by CREATOR for every person to use in a respectful way, but it was NEVER created to be OWNED by anyone ! Maybe you were out sick on THAT particuliar Sunday when that was taught in sunday school.

Ah, they Did teach that point in (your) Sunday School, didn't they ??

Nice argument but there are a few problems. Most of the founders were Deists not Theists. The DI talks about a Creator not God. Creator is mentioned once and God is only mentioned once and it is "natures God". The COTUS does not mention the word God once. One would think that if there were as religious as you claim that they would have at least mentioned God once. The fact that "creator" was only mentioned once in the DI and never mentioned in the COTUS seems pretty intentional to me.

Government grants the rights. Sometimes it is a government that is by the consent of the people sometimes it is not. Laws are passed by man and enforced by man. It is only hypocritical to demand the rights conferred upon you by God if you do not believe in God.

Repeating a lie does not make it true.
B) Xut

And which lie would that be?

The Progressive rewrite of history regarding Deist's!

For every web site that makes your argument there is a greater number to refute the findings.

However the common thread is that regardless of this debate the Founding Fathers placed the rights of the Individual first and had an innate fear of a theocracy.

Ah. Got ya.

Well get this!

The fear was NOT people practicing their religion, The fear was not to be ruled as England was by the Church of England. They were dead set against it. That's why the word "Sacred" came out of the Declaration of Independence and "Creator" went in.

They were NEVER against worship, they wanted to safeguard Liberty so we didn't end up like the Taliban reign in Afghanistan.

I mean if you want a totally secular society then why do most government agencies close for Christmas?
