Like I said if 2 sims can be moved so can the ROC and the two decade old bowe machine. The company will twist the arms of the office complexes to see who can give them the best leases and then twist the arms of the county execs to see what kind of tax breaks they can get and then a office will be closed.

Roc just moved to INT from PIT a year or two ago. Also ROC and Inventory are not CWA they are management, they aren't really affected by all this anyway. Not that that matters it would be a big time retraining effort to handle all that INT does in PIT. The only piece missing in INT is ticketing, they handle seats, oxygen, space positive, prepaids, lots of little things, but nothing that a group in INT couldn't learn in 6 weeks or so. I think everyone is being a little unrealistic to think that PIT res is going to be the surviving res office it makes no sense to keep two buildings in PIT when everything could be done in one building in INT.

Still missing the point.... It will be a leaseing issue and political issue. The office will be in either PIT or INT they didn't say which address. I'm sure Inventory could be easly moved to CCY where it belongs. The company could use existing space out at RIDC or perhaps find new space in either city. When they do combine we are only talking about maybee 1200 agents anyways.
And isn't it always the case with this company they do what you least expect!

Oxygen desk went to CLT not INT a few weeks ago. Watch for more to go elsewhere before Xmas.

Good luck in Winston all you Steeler fans Take terrible towels along and teach them what football is really like. Weather is better there most of the time but watch out for the ice storms. People there don't know how to drive in bad weather. All in all look forward to a pig pickin and take some good Iron City beer with you. It's a dry county.

The tanks are being shipped out of CLT instead of PIT.
The phone calls from the passengers ordering the oxygen are still handled in
PIT by Reservations Services ( AKA Ticketing).

No the INT Res is not owned by US Airways. That went bye bye under Schofield. He decidec that it was better for the company not to own the property. The building is owned by Highwood Properties and we lease from them. PIT has TBM, INTL, GS and CSD desks. Maybe other dpts as well. INT has TLC, CHP, GS, Rates, FAST, INTL, Groups and Meetings dpts.

Actually, Piedmont sold the res center and the acreage when it purchased it's headquarters on 1st street in the 80s. So US has always leased that facility and the demolished CRO.

I heard that CCY is moving. They found space in place called Tora Bora that can be sublet by somebody named Osama. The rent will be reasonable and if bad decisions are made nobody can find you. I heard you only have to be aware of something called a "Daisy Cutter". I am sure they can call their friends in DCA and ask to be exempt from any possible interferance from those"daisy" things. I feel hopeful that this part of the plan will help things around.

The Winston res centers were sold on 11/11/97 for $17,500,000 to Highwood from a local real estate company. The parcel consists of 17.37 acres of prime real estate ripe for retail development. Also on the permit filed with Forsyth county the old CRO is now zoned commercial and has been approved for building permit. No tenet is named on the permit just Highwood Prop.

So whats the rest of the story.................
