What's new

Injunction is out

then you've learned nothing after all of this.

Far from it Aqua, we have learned much from it. I hope someone in the training dept is at work on the new slogan. "Train the way we tell you, Fly the way Judge Conrad wants........" 😀

Not CLT, and I voted NO on LOA 93. We are rock solid in PHL. This injunction is nothing to worry about at all. I am currently getting all the phone numbers of the C/P 's in PHL. I would encourage all pilots with any operational concerns, maintenance concerns, to actively involve them in your daily decisions, especially the Int'l pilots. I would go so far as to ask them the suggested taxi speeds with varying weather conditions, and if there is turbulence on a route, call and ask them to participate in the new route selection, as to not slow down the operation of the airline. There are a myriad of decisions we can ask them, all for the good operation of the airline. We all want to make sure we abide by the terms of the injunction, and the one way to absolutely comply, is to involve the management pilots in these decisions. Whatever the time of day. I am all for complying with Judge Conrad.
Rock solid in PHL? Didn't you have a rep go off the reservation? Didn't you threaten him on this very board?

And did you voice your displeasure at having a scab rep and scab spokesman working for USAPA? Why were they even allowed to join?

And I look forward to the contempt of court. It's inevitable.

Once again you miss the message. If you start a bunch of recall efforts, and I mean a bunch, you send a message. That fractured group starts coming together because they know others are willing to come out publicly to challenge Cleary.

And you're right, unless that movement is accompanied with a Nic acceptance, it is snafu.

Someone needs to stand up and state that fighting the Nic is a lost cause.

Once you've been around this place a little longer maybe you will understand. Until then, with your mindset, it's SNAFU.

You've been pegged, most see it.

You are funny at times. From your lofty perch you say that the east can't do anything so tell the west they need to vote as a block to cure the east's mistakes. Too lazy to take the initiative to get those apathetic voters involved. You poke fun about the westies not all being on the same script, yet accept it as unchangable on the east side. Being right all the time (in your mind) taking too much time to allow you to help yourself? Or just another sad attempt to show how wrong the west is about everything?

I see a distinction between your gross name and mine, but maybe not. Both a little childish.

Don't feel sad for me, things are going great. I have a job. A great wife and kids-my daughter that actually got a job out of college, and the others are doing great in school. I already live in the Piedmont of NC, and am already a captain. Getting ready for a nice cool Saturday and a 6 miler around the lake. And still young enough that I may see something better out of this place.

When you make it to CLT and are my F/O we will have a great time trading snarky barbs and I will buy the beverages of your choice.
Alas, we may never fly together. The only gear I'll be yanking for an eastie is if he's an FO and it's his leg. That is, unless, I forbid him from flying. You guys do tend to ding airplanes quite frequently.

I too have the great family life and am going to do my walk along the Charles.

When I get to CLT and you're worried about writing something up, you can call me and I'll walk you through it. Then I'll buy you a beer (I was never on LOA 93) and we can talk about taxi speeds.

You saying someone else is always right, what a hoot!

Okay wise one, I'm all ears, what do we do about the apathetic? What did YOU do about them when you were here? I remember you on the ALPA web, doing the same thing you do here, pointing out every mistake and everyone's flaws, but I don't remember you doing anything about it. Did I miss your activism? So, lay it out for me. Tell ME how YOU would fix it.

Don't be so sure about that, this airline gig is funny. I first checked out in '92, then '98, then '08.........you work for US now.

I, and most of my fellow east pilots, have never dinged a plane.

The Charles as in BOS? That would explain a lot. Great town, if it weren't for all those Bostonians! Just kidding. Running the Charles is one of my favorites, especially this time of year.

Naw, I'll get the beer, I wasn't on LOA 93 longer than I have been, and at least I have a small pension.

No. What I said was that you're always right in your mind....a big difference. I'll tell you what I didn't do - poke fun at people then tell them to help me accomplish something. I also didn't sit quietly by while those in power (and their loyal followers) spread their BS - I pointed it out. You can't make anyone do anything, but you can try to convince them that it's in their best interest to do what you suggest. But I guess it's easier to just blame the westies...nothing like playing into the feelings of the USAPA faithful - they'll never guess that you're really trying to create change.

You're right. You may actually be my FO one day. I checked out a number of years ago (just once) and never looked back.

And a lot of you have dinged an aircraft. A lot more than the west for sure. You see those DEN pics yet of the east 321 tail strike? Ugly.

Glad to hear you have a small pension At least you can buy groceries once a month with it. I've been investing my own money and the company has been kicking in a good chunk as well so I don't have to worry about losing it. Holding my own even with this meltdown.

No, you didn't. You would poke fun, or just in general lash out, if they disagreed with you, especially in regards to your bid closing "expertise'. Sound familiar? And you certainly never asked anyone for help, because then, like now, in your mind you had all the answers.

I'm not telling you to help us with anything, I'm giving you the chance to put your money where your mouth is. I doubt you will, it's not your m.o. That is to pick everything apart and show everyone how smart you are.

Don't be so sure, you never know in this business. Besides, I don't really think you are a captain now.

I've always thought really stupid pilots threw stones at others that had accidents/issues. Thanks for proving me right.

You may be right about the groceries. The way things are going by the time I retire they may cost around 4 grand a month, good thing I fully funded my other retirement programs too.

The company kicked in a good chunk? You had something better than you have now? Cause I don't see that as a good chunk, especially when you were so poorly paid for all those years.

Like I said, not great but not bottom like you.

And I am a Capt who likes to point out blatant incompetence in others, like you easties. Especially when you guys pretend to be a gift to aviation.

Safety wise your f-ups. You can't negotiate to save you life. You give everything away. And your work-action is the laughing stock of the industry. I'm worried you guys will put another one into the ground when LOA93 comes out.

Just calling it like I see it sport.

Why don't you list our incidents since the merger was announced. It won't take long.

Yes, I have made my dissatisfaction known. No, petitions don't get very far in this union, or haven't you noticed.

I want to know how the membership feels at this point in time, not the leadership, or the BPR, or the usual suspects who attend domicile meetings, or the keyboard crowd - but the increasingly silent majority, such as the 60% who did not vote in CLT.

In case it hasn't dawned on you, which I doubt, a USAPA without any leverage or authority does not help east or west. The legal machine will grind on until the courts decide or the money runs out. In the meantime, it is Parker who owns all of us.
So you still stand by your statement that knowing what you know today you would still have voted for usapa?
