What's new

Injunction is out

What a crock. I told what was wrong with the MEC members who wanted to treat the MDA pilots as second class. Thanks to their supporters, apathy, etc, the pilot group let them be treated that way, voted to sell the 170's out from underneath them, refused them jumpseat for "suing us", etc. Take a look around now and tell me how most east pilots feel about the "MDA - mainline or not" question. I took MEC members to task over FPL - how many east pilots now see that they were feeding at the trough and are starting to realize that USAPA is no different? Words can change opinions. Or you can sit back and claim innocence, helplessness, whatever, and do nothing but complain about someone else not doing the lifting.

. I am currently getting all the phone numbers of the C/P 's in PHL. I would encourage all pilots with any operational concerns, maintenance concerns, to actively involve them in your daily decisions, especially the Int'l pilots. I would go so far as to ask them the suggested taxi speeds with varying weather conditions, and if there is turbulence on a route, call and ask them to participate in the new route selection, as to not slow down the operation of the airline. There are a myriad of decisions we can ask them, all for the good operation of the airline. We all want to make sure we abide by the terms of the injunction, and the one way to absolutely comply, is to involve the management pilots in these decisions. I am all for complying with Judge Conrad.
You got it. You are so right 110%. This micro management HP style has been in play with the other employee groups for quite some time now. Very paranoia management style loves to spend time and money on detection and creepy techniques

Really, I don't remember any of that. How did you do it exactly?

I don't remember a change in attitudes toward MDA by the MEC, or the hogs leaving the trough. As a matter of fact, during the ACPC days they offered to buy my trip just to get me to go to the meeting.

That contempt of court is right around the corner. I can feel it. With these two leading the way it's only a matter of time.

How dare they catch you guys not doing your jobs! The horrors!

You weren't here for much of it - CM was the big "if the GAG says it it must be true" pusher. We had many back and forths over LOA 93, the MDA pilots, the 170 vote, etc (and those were very much the reason I've got so many total posts). A lot was on the old ALPA forum also, where you make the same claims about me ("just like on the ALPA forum"). And before you ask, no - I'd don't claim all the credit by any means. But at least I did something. Heck, I even told you that a union elected on a platform of picking winners and losers wouldn't work.

But keep thinking that I'm always wrong and you're always right...that "I know better than anyone" thinking worked so well for both ALPA and USAPA leadership...

But you claim to have all the answers, so keep with the "we're fractured, we're apathetic, we're (insert excuse here)" so somebody else will have to do it" and see how much difference that makes.

Would that be addressed to me or the guy in the post right above yours?

Not CLT, and I voted NO on LOA 93. We are rock solid in PHL. This injunction is nothing to worry about at all. I am currently getting all the phone numbers of the C/P 's in PHL. Sounds like RICO to me...

Like I said, not great but not bottom like you.

And I am a Capt who likes to point out blatant incompetence in others, like you easties. Especially when you guys pretend to be a gift to aviation.

Safety wise your f-ups. You can't negotiate to save you life. You give everything away. And your work-action is the laughing stock of the industry. I'm worried you guys will put another one into the ground when LOA93 comes out.

Just calling it like I see it sport.

Why don't you list our incidents since the merger was announced. It won't take long.

Do you feel diminished at the PHX encounters with SWA pilots and their families? Do you discuss your rejections in the industry, or do you talk of your America West western heritage and roots? Do you blame your rejections at the other airlines on the eastern pilots, or do you honestly deal with your shortcomings. I would imagine the looks and snickers from the SWA wives are telling. Did you even tell your neighbors you work for America West in the past? When you speak to the SWA families, do they ask you if you are a western scab, or just one who could not be hired in the eastern side, or any other airline, especially the nemesis SWA?
