Have a couple of questions regarding Int'l jumpseating and was hoping someone could enlighten me on the new rules.

1. need to list 24 hrs in advance...true?
2. pilots can no longer occupy the jumpseat...true?

mullet,

#2 is true - at least as recently as mid-Janurary. Even though you're technically riding j/s, you'll need an empty seat in the back or you won't get on.

#1 - I think that's true also - particularly for the flt back to the US, but don't know for certain.
