Is Biden delusional? Tesla is the leader.

More like a savvy business decision to purchase oil on the cheap and fill the reserve which is to be used in case of war or several other issues.

Getting their asses kicked not producing due to a government caused fiasco? A glut causes less demand for drilling, you know, supply and demand, when everyone is forced into seclusion which ended up, socially and economically, doing more harm than good.

Unlike the sitting buffoon who lies and claims he's selling two and a half days worth to help cut oil prices, when a large amount went to India and Joey's and Hunter's buddies in China. Makes a fair profit to help pay for his over the top spending that isn't going to cost US taxpayers, duh...just did. Oh, to refill what he sold is going to cost a lot more at current prices.

Good move Brandon.
Geez, you are spinning, Oil was free falling and trump replenished reserves to try and help drillers. It didn’t but that was the intent.

It's not as simple as you try to make it seem.

Yes, oil was at rock bottom prices, Trump trounced on that to refill the reserves at current market pricing, accomplishing a twofold purpose. It's called 'Strategic' for a reason.

Drillers balked at the gov't's offer, claiming it was logistically too hard for them to move inland oil to Gulf Coast SPR delivery sites.

Drillers also balked at SPR storage where the oil is mixed with other types, such as sweet and sour crude. They were concerned about degrading their higher priced product with lower grade crude.

There were deadlines that many producers could not meet, also.

Your favored party blocked funding for the program in a stimulus package, then the administration decided to lease space instead, bypassing Congress. Most small, medium and large producers were the ones who benefited

Trump asked Congress to come up with money for outright purchases, even after the original funding was blocked.

How did that work out?

So tell me, who is spinning now?

Electric cars will save the environment

Red State: Joining in the fray now is NBC News, which has also surprised by delivering another inconvenient truth. A new report shows that the need for more raw nickel ore – driven by the explosive market for lithium batteries – is causing the eradication of pristine rainforests in the Philippines. This is not a gradual loss of acreage. Massive swaths of the forests are being shredded as nickel mines are expanding at a rate far greater than the rise in global temperatures.

How the rise of electric cars endangers the ‘last frontier’ of the Philippines

A mine that supplies nickel for the batteries that power electric vehicles is on the verge of a major expansion into a pristine rainforest.

How's the global warming issue these days?

Red State: It was buried during the Thanksgiving weekend, but CNN managed to commit a random act of journalism, detailing some new climate data that was found to show that the Earth warming actually began many decades earlier than stated. This revelation manages to both throw off climate modeling, as well as make the claim that mankind’s technology was the root cause of…well, everything going wrong.

The Arctic Ocean began warming decades earlier than previously thought, new research shows

(CNN)The Arctic Ocean has been warming since the onset of the 20th century, decades earlier than instrument observations would suggest, according to new research.
The study, published Wednesday in the journal Science Advances, found that the expansion of warm Atlantic Ocean water flowing into the Arctic, a phenomenon known as "Atlantification," has caused Arctic water temperature in the region studied to increase by around 2 degrees Celsius since 1900.

"The Arctic Ocean has been warming up for much longer than we previously thought," Muschitiello told CNN. "And this is something that's a bit unsettling for many reasons, especially because the climate models that we use to cast projections of future climate change do not really simulate these type of changes."

So trashing Biden in the original post wasn’t spinning? Lol, ok.

Why is Biden so blatantly ignoring Tesla as the EV leader of the world? So far as to blatantly lie and say GM is the leader. Without a hefty government bailout GM is not going to survive the electric revolution that is among us. I also find it interesting that he keeps saying, “high paying union jobs”. Tesla employees are some of the highest paid in the industry. I doubt you could find a single millionaire working on a GM assembly line as to where Tesla has several hundreds. We are on the precipice of a paradigm shift in the automotive industry. Of the Big Three I only see Ford having a shot at surviving and they will struggle for a decade or better. The only way they can possibly survive is with tremendous amounts of government bailouts. Would the public put up with such bailouts? I wouldn’t be in favor of them, not after the last round of bailouts.

2013 model? Yea I feel the same way about Ford and Chevrolet these days, neither can build a transmission worth a damn.

Reality......doesn't even approach maintenance headaches over poor charging practices and battery life, for openers.
In roughly three minutes, you can fill the gas tank of a Ford Mustang and have enough range to go about 300 miles with its V8 engine.

But on a recent 200-mile trip from Boston to New York in the Mustang's electric Mach-E variant, Axios' Dan Primack said he felt "panic" as his battery level dipped below 23% while searching for a compatible charger to complete his trip.

"I was assured that this might be one of the country's easiest EV routes," Primack wrote. "Those assurances were misplaced."

For Bloomberg automotive analyst Kevin Tynan, an hour plugged into his household outlet gave the Mach-E just three miles of range.
