Johnson & Johnson has decided to discontinue its negotiated air travel program with US. The company has notified all employees of its decision and has explained that US does not provide the "value" to the company that it did in the past. J&J also has advised its employees which of US's competitors can provide non-stop or good connections to certain cities. Although J&J is apparently still in negotiations with US, they cite to the new management of US restructuring the program and making it not competitive. The carriers now being recommended by J&J to its more than 100,000 employees include LEGACY carriers--not one LCC is cited. I guess this is just more evidence that US wants to attract the hefty bag customer.
