Anytime you talk negatively about the TWU/IAM or Association, you are being insensitive in some peoples eyes!
No the conversation currently is about a "human being" One that could for all we know be going through a personal tragedy? Or maybe even worse? A beloved family member.

Because the man holds a particular position doesn't mean we have to be crude or cruel if that winds up being the case.

Of course we do live in an extremely self centered time thanks to Social Media. Can't say that it's brought out the best of Humanity that's for sure.

What do you know personally about Harry Lombardo, AANOTOK?

The Association being implemented the way it was surely created some bad feelings. The process has been long and tedious which adds to the bad feelings. I heard today that Lombardo had a melt down yelling at TWU people on the NC about the slow progress in talks.Don't know how true this is. The timing of this is questionable at best.It makes you wonder if there are more unknown differences between the 2 unions or maybe the guy just has some personal issues to deal with. Makes you wonder.

You heard wrong. Again the TWU doesn't totally revolve around the interests of its members at AA alone. As a matter of fact since Harry took office they have organized thousands of others into our ranks. The TWU represents in partial members in Airlines, Railroads, Bus Drivers, Gaming and now Bike Share as well (And others)

He had a melt down over how long negotiations are taking? That's a good one.It didn't take long for someone to come up with that yet you knew it was coming

And you've benefited how? Nothing is factual until it comes straight from you?

It's true actually. He lost it because a guy stopped off for a Breakfast Burrito as he was hungry and showed up to negotiate 5 minutes late to the room.

What a tyrant.

I don't give a damn what you think especially if you want to make this about you or us.

I say leave the man be for what has been described as his "personal" issue. Just like I assume you would also like to be respected.

STOP with the need to know. You do not need to know and neither do I.

Well he should have brought enough burritos for everybody

More of a case to form and join Tims union

Dude "F" off. You're not his damn spokesperson and your not my boss or dad. I hope it's not something extremely serious and he
will be back to doing his job soon. I also hope it's not job related and the pressure is affecting him.
I don't know, nor do you, I don't give a damn what your multiple people tell you. If you haven't spoken to Harry in the last week or so, you
don't know. So shut the hell up. Either Harry himself or the union will put out another memo if they feel it necessary. Until then, no one knows the facts, no even YOU!

He was "put" on a personal leave of absence?

Keep fishing.

I guess you have never had a "personal" issue in your life before and wished for it to remain "personal"
Well, I hope you aren't paying his fat salary for his meltdown. I wish him the best and hope he gets the help he needs to re-evaluate things. I know sometimes people have issues in their life, and I can understand that, but it looks fairly bad since he is suppose to be our Union Kingpin on August 1 and now we don't even know where he is at.

The members wanna know.

This guy doesn't have to sign off on the contract does he. I don't want to sound insensitive but can this hold up getting a T/A. Tim now would be a good time  you to start an independent union
It would be the worst time to start an independent airline union. We have to ride with this 2 headed labor organization that doesn't know how to close a deal and may actually close the window due to it not knowing what the heck it is doing.

That said, if these clowns don't get us our contract before September then something is wrong. These talks should have been the easiest talks to close out as Parker lobbed up two givens that our negotiation team doesn't even have to negotiate, i.e., wages, and profit sharing. So, according to Parker, we are getting Profit Sharing and the highest base wage. He already handed us that without negotiations. So, all our negotiation team has to do is accept it, not give anything away, and maybe clean up the rough edges. I'm still hopeful they can do that but we have to find out what is going on. Basically, sign the TA already (Ok, without that stupid United concession crap) and get out of the way at this point as we are losing $925 a month. My Gosh if they get a snag because of the IAMPF and screw this thing up for a few months then it may be time to cut the line and move on and consider the path of our pilots and stews by just forming their own Labor organization. Let's hope our 2 headed beast cleans its act up, and our union Kingpin regains his senses and comes off of his personal leave to lead this thing home.

Whatever the case, this can't be tossed away as insignificant. The guy is suppose to be our main negotiator in about a month. Now he is on some self imposed 'haitus'. Sorry, Weasle but the membership needs a bit more information about who the hell is the next batter up. Who is on deck? Is Doyle going to give it a try and take over negotiations? Do we leave Sito in there and allow things to go to hell? I hope they don't bring in Klemm and let him give it a try. We are losing $925 a month, and these negotiations should have already been concluded if we didn't burn 8 months with the unions pissing on eachother. Since our leadership is now on 'personal leave' maybe this is finally a good time to re-evaluate how these guys negotiate and just put in a professional.
