What would REALLY embarrass me would be taking over my Mommy and Daddy's house, never having been married and working in a little box at the same airport for 30 years and having to come on some blog site and make fun of anyone and everyone because my life is so miserable and pathetic. Oh and having to gripe all the time about how poor I am and how much I need money like a street corner begger. "You got a Dollar you can spare Sir?"

Yes they did hire a bunch from the contract company making it even harder for the LAA guys to get back (no openings). I think only a few went back you would think more but since they were going to be on the bottom they feared a layoff.You have to understand the the tolls to NJ from NY are like $16 a day

You would think that there would be recall rights (or some sort of dispensation) and any vacancies should be filled before any street hires, IMHO. 
Yeah, a few of our people got bumped out of the hub a few years ago and had to go to either JFK or LGA. Now that JFK is closed, everybody came back. Tolls every day are a killer.

Weazz sounds like you had to make a phone call to a mutual acquaintance  who you don't know very well and who happens to be one if not the biggest B/S artists there is. shows you are a bad judge of character. Yes I have never been married and yes I inherited my parents house I told you this privately somehow you want to turn int into a negative go ahead. This is where I get juvenile I saw you on jetnet and despite being a few years older than you I could get and have gotten more pu$$y than you hands down. You have been married and that's your business I won't get into your private life. What I say on here to anybody is never malicious I don't call people stupid jerks clueless morons because the don't agree with me. I kid.Weez all the ass kissing and union worship you do is not going to get you anywhere you got 61 votes out of thousands people must find you to be  arrogant  I actually think you would make a good officer but you have tone down the personality. now its starting to storm here and I will have to get out of my box to help reroute. Telling 700UW that HE was the direct cause of people losing jobs is hurtful and you know it. As for me, no. What you're trying to use isn't working. Far from it. If you really knew me better you might know the things that do get under my skin. But my real FRIENDS would never do that to me.

In my opinion they should have gone back to EWR. They might have gotten crappy days off and a lousy vacation but so what.  JFK and LGA rotate days off anyway.

Depends. Would they have gone back as PT? Better off going to LGA or JFK and working some extra hours to cover the commute.

Plus (doubt it but) if there had been a layoff on that courtesy recall they wouldn't have been able to get back in on our side so easy.

IMO (If that's ok) they made the right choice.
