You did. Is the association going to get us $30 and don't give me the DL keeping the union out song and dance. DL didn't have to give that raise their people were happy in the mid 20 per hour with profit sharing
Ask Kev about all those top dollar guys Delta has gotten rid of and all those bottom dollar guys they're bringing in.

You want that bullseye on your back?

Worldport how many times do I have to say this? They have Lawyers galore. And economists too.

Think about the cash the Union gets in dues. That alone should tell you that they are going to have professionals to advise.

If you ever talk to one of them ask them about the mock negotiations they were subjected to. Personally I found it hilarious. Very useful too.

Personally, I think he is an intrusive interloper who hasn't worked on the ramp for decades (if ever), and interjects into this forum to tout the stellar leadership of the IAM.... which segways into the Executive Board (?) where the IAM fishwrapper listed the Board's experience and education.  It was a few years ago when I posted my opinion, but of the dozen or so members, one had a college degree from a school I never heard about previously, and I think it was Sito, but not sure.  But the experience was high in terms of pay phone repair technicians, tire changers, and truck drivers... call me mad crazy, but I like Executive Board of large organizations who are formally educated with meaningful professional experience.

Shall I call you Ostrich then . I'm having a real bad day  running around too much for a 57 year old. Tell Bob to get that toe tag ready. With the traffic here any medical emergency they might as well skip the hospital and drive you to the morgue or in my case straight to Harts Island

Weez I work in the same building take the same bus for years. Yes they are bringing in Ready reserve but I never heard of top guys leaving unless they wanted to. Out of curiosity what did AA do to the people when they got rid of cabin services was there a layoff?

We dont necessarily need attorneys to negotiate but should hire professional negotiators as management did with Jerry Glass. We are simply outgunned. We could probably save a half million if you get rid of all the non educated peeps making $100,000+ on our side of the table.

He does cheerlead a little too much for my liking and I've told him so. Good people in the IAM but they internally politicize way too much for my tastes from what I've learned. IMO.

Ask Kev. And ask him to post a certain petition. I think it was 170 guys they got rid of?

regards,

Go ahead. Hire lawyers who have ZERO clue about the ins and outs of our contract and see what they bring back.

They'll get you the money I'm sure. Probably not much else.

You think they'll understand the importance of CS's? Nope. Think they'll understand paid lunches and penalty hours? Nope.

Just two off the top of my head.

The 2 unions agree that the PS comes as a freebie with nothing in return, so what do these dopes do?

They decide to lump it into a TA with all other items.

They could have simply signed a loa and it would be incorporated prior to the ta, and all would have been fine.

However, by attaching it to any ta, they are shamefully subjecting our PS to a ta vote. If a ta gets rejected then too bad for PS.

Also, if a ta isnt ratified prior to 2017 then we would risk losing the ps for this years end profits.

Thus, it appears that they anticipate a ta soon.

why do you waste your time with him? All he does is lie and take personal shots. And he is the only one dumb enuf to take credit for a bk agreement that was the model used by management to contract out thousands of "related employees".
He doesnt work.
Looking in the mirror I see.

And you are the king of the liars and misinformation.

I think a labor lawyer would have been better suited than a stock clerk don't you
We had lawyers.

And do you wasn't someone negotiating your contract that had zero clue and experience doing your job?
