Come on Weez they opened the most important parts, parts we didn't even get to yet. I think they were smart to skip the bulletin boards.
Bulletin Boards once again took a whopping 20 minutes to TA. And obviously you just don't think the other Articles are that important because you've never been in a position that you needed to use one of them.

Maybe they shouldn't have worried about the Greivance process and left that out of the contract.

Without that the company will absolutely come out with a nice response

"Bye bye Worldport, enjoy the new job that you'll be searching for"

They are? Really? Maybe you should look at those names again? And I don't think that there were 6 TWU Fleet Presidents involved in those talks at UAL either?

Unless maybe they were moonlighting without any of us knowing it?

Hey ain't that the one that both Tim and Kev thought was fantastic when it came to that Station Staffing formula? And aren't those some of the same guys that are in there again?

Our own Forum bro's P. Rez and Charlie Brown rockin the house?

It's kind of like a difficult puzzle. The 2 work groups had different things and it will cost to blend them and give them to both sides. The total cost will end up in the ballpark with United and Delta and hopefully better. It is tricky to put together. This association was formed to prevent people from getting screwed. I'm for that, but it seems something will have to give here.Hopefully the unions will get a deal and show the costs in comparison with the other airlines so members can make a good decision based on knowledge. Just have to hope a very good all around deal gets put together.
'a good deal"   you forgot "in a timely manner"

NYer is correct...any stations not mentioned in the Kasher awards would remain 4/10/01 for TWA seniority...I think RDU and CLT are the 2 big cities that aren't mentioned that would come in to play...the seniority committee meets again on 6/20 and 6/21.

Wouldn't you have liked to put that fuel pump money towards a new car?Lets not forget another very important tid bit once we do have a T/A it is my feeling that we are going to have to wait for the AMTS to show unity that could be another year . (No offense Conehead777)

CLT is not staffed by PMAA on the ramp, they were outsourced in like 2003 or before, and TW didnt have their own ramp if I remember correctly, as they were never part of our Local Lodge, and I was an officer, we had no TWA members and I was in CLT since 1991.

How could that happen AA wasn't in bankruptcy in 2003? you mean they (TWU)voluntarily gave concessions? What kind of union am I being forced into.

Talos. A difficult puzzle indeed. A monumental challenge for the NC. The goal should be, and I believe is with our NC, reaching "a very good all around deal...". for everyone. Will everyone's interests be satisfied? Unlikely, but you kick and scratch for everything you can protect and gain. IMO... that is the challenge the NC is saddled with. The below wing, represented work groups in this industry, however, have demonstrated a history of voting for the money, as long as concessions in other Articles, such as Recognition and Scope, don't have a direct impact on them. I witnessed first hand, as a Teller in the 1st UA/CO Agreement, members in my station who voted for the money, despite the writing on the wall. It was ratified locally by the same margin it was ratified system wide. 70 - 30% I believe. Remarkable! As a result... none of them work here anymore. Our local lost over 30 represented jobs at UA. They either had to locate elsewhere to retain employment, took furlough or were forced to retire.  The NC is charged with reaching an agreement that represents the best interest of the entire membership. Even when the membership does not share this thought process. I support the NC in this challenge. However long it takes. A difficult puzzle and challenge. But one worth pursuing IMO.

Then explain NK's T/A; they're 141 too.

At any rate, the one-flight-a-day side letter is fantastic, but it only stands until a JCBA is reached. It should be the jump off point-and floor- of any Scope talks...
