I'll trade that PS for a bigger 401k match.
PS is an unknown so they won't likely exchange that item this time for any improvements. But you should be able to have the ability to divert it into your 401k if you want.

Oh and Tim keeps saying that "the dopes" haven't signed the agreement yet. How does he know they didn't do that months ago but don't need to make some type of freakin grand production out of doing something ridiculously obvious?

As far as I know the FA's were the only ones that had to make that production public.

Last heard the union was reviewing the PS which all groups get as long as company posts profits.
KEV I like the idea of having both

Robbed if you decided to give me some money do I have to run around making a grand production that you gave it to me and I accepted?

PS isn't "given" to employees; it's earned.

Semantics. Both earned and given unless contractually agreed upon and then it's legally expected.

Not semantics. The idea that it's given is borne out of the same mindset that says we're all "just lucky to have a job."

The idea that it's earned recognizes the rank and files' role as revenue generators.

Why have to trade it? The ps was freely given. We need a bigger 401k. The pilots and stews got it, then they got PS.

Here is the problem, it may be that we dont get any profit sharing at all this year if we dont sign a ta. Worst yet is that these clowns dont seem to understand that parker can put a condition on it late fall and say we arent entitled to it if we dont sign. Thereby hogtying our dopes. They havent sign the ps offer from the company.

I for one am not goin to allow our idiots to pass the buck when the fault for not having a ta lies with our association.

I "expect" nothing that is outside of my negotiated Collective Bargaining Agreement. If the company outside of that agreement gives it to me I'll accept it.

If they want to give out Hamburgers just to have a photo opportunity with me, they can take those Hamburgers and feed them to the Homeless for all I care.

Negotiators if you are currently reading the thread will you please break out the horns and give this moron his fanfare production that you accepted the Profit Sharing offer? Please.

This guy is ridiculously desperate for some cash.

Seems to me birthday would be the simplest way if not the fairest. A person born 1-1-1960 is more senior than a 1-2-1960, therefore your Seniority rule is maintained.

Opens up potential "age discrimination" litigation is my understanding.
