Talk about half truths, they also don't answer certain question that might slight the union. That's what gets me about the union they think they are talking to idiots. They say get involved, but believe me they are grateful most are apathetic
make it easier to stay in power that way. Then you throw in rules are set up to make it difficult for any opposition to be successful.

You think going to the bottom of the classification is good? What incentive would a 10 year man have to go to lead. If we had that here literally new hires would be put in the lead position. Also what the he!! is "Blended"Sounds to me 1 from one group then 1 from another group doing it that way a 10 year man from LUS but be ahead of you in MIA. Stop drinking 700's Sangria punch
I merely said thanks for the info. No position stated bro.

A. Where is the money coming from to pay these guys?
B. Decision by Dec.1st...so much for any agreement before the end of the year.
I still want to know what "blended" means?

We can still have a JCBA before then. Just can't totally integrate the workforce. So transfers and in station bidding melding the two groups would have to wait.

Just like the other groups who got contracts, items were implemented in stages.

And if you read the next line. The company couldn't integrate until we agree and ratify JCBA.

So you are saying either I don't get a say (vote) on how seniority will be implemented or we can go ahead and vote on a T/A without knowing how seniority will be implemented.

The money is coming from us. This Javits guy sounds like he is making a huge deal out of this. Bringing in a law firm will cost. Also, the seniority situation which we were told was taken care of a long time ago must have serious issues. Either that or this Javits guy is just milking the cow along with the lawyers at our expense. If this is about crew chiefs they can just let the IAM stations keep it their way and the TWU stations their way. aybe there is more to this.

How seniority works will/should be written into the JCBA. So if you vote no on that we won't be integrated. But it also doesn't mean that it will necessarily change and actually I very much doubt it would.

That's why they're going with the neutral mediator/arbitrator in the first place. For the left over more difficult items that they couldn't agree on.

Again remember our integration is not as complex as the Mechanics.

So ours is already settled I don't have to worry about blending?

Maybe there should have been a Q&A from the ASS attached to this, oh well

Really don't know what will be the finished product? As the letter states we'll all know in due time.

C. When does anyone actually get to vote on anything?

I said already multiple times that I could care less. If your comment was a statement that I'm a liar then you really don't know me at all. And I could care less about that too.

I hope I misinterpreted?
