He has to be getting paid as a Ill Ask Management shill. Most everyone knows what we are already getting but weasel wants us to believe that our negotiation team can pimp more money out of parker by i guess stomping their feet. Nobody likes this association as it is stealing our money. Even the non union peeps did great with scope for 5 flights, and even so much more than us on everything else. We are losing $950 a month cuz of weasel and his peeps on the iam side.
Alright you got me bro. Look at the IAM 141 LM2 next year and my name will be on it. They're paying me what they used to pay you until you were fired 3 times.

Lololololololo. Chuckle chuckle, snicker, guffaw, side splitting, knee slapping funny. Ha ha.

AA plan? Always the pessimist aren't you.
Realist, you optimistic IAM shill. I'm embarrassed to say I had to look up shill and it doesn't fit you, but it sounds cool.

The TWU takes the helm on August 1st. Let's see what happens. Some buttons are already floating out there.
What difference will that make. I'm not being a smarta**, I really don't know. We will have the same negotiators, same proposals.
I'm more afraid of the changing of the guard by elections that are upcoming. As you know Brian Oyer is our guy and Darrin Pierce is running again and would replace Brian on the NC if he wins and we do not have a T/A. Many of us here do not want that but, democracy I guess.

Pierce is going to try again! You have got to be kidding me!

Anybody that would want Pierce in negotiations over Oyer needs their head examined...I agree...I think the date that the association chair changes is actually the middle of August sometime...

Nothing personal to Darrin but I very much doubt they would take Brian out of the negotiations and make the exchange? If it's not finished by Jan 1 they would be too far along in the process for either group to want that.

Sidney Jiminez won the Presidency here in MIA and tried to get into the Negotiations and was told no.

Besides anyone running for President this year had better hope this thing doesn't get wrapped up before the voting starts or there's no way the challengers have any chance of winning. That's a fact.

...the dispatchers voted their president out after they overwhelmingly ratified their CBA...

Did the guy who got voted out negotiate the entire contract? Plus the dispatchers had a lot of drama going on for that group. And they're very small too so they are all well aware of that drama.

Fleet members will see that cash and ask who got that for them.

Hero on shoulders.

I guess if Darrin wanted to replace Brian in negotiations, we would have to see what the TWU bylaws state. But then again, the is the Association and I highly doubt there are in notes in place if this were to occur.

Has anyone answered my question on why it really matters when there is a role reversal come mid August?

From what I understand the chair schedules the meetings and that's it...no power involved.

That was one of the problems people had from the beginning of the Association. It violates our TWU Constitution for negotiations. But here we are today right? Besides you have two other spots up for grabs as well this year. Andre Sutton and Tim (The beast) Hughes.

Again I just don't see any of them being moved out until this is finished? The other 9 guys in the room might have a problem with it as well and it could just cause more disruption then it's worth.

The IAM is currently sitting in the association chair driving the bus. They "may" not want to currently put any pressure on the company through the process? Personally I believe Harry Lombardo "may" have a different way of thinking about that?

There are a lot of ways to pressure the company and the investors are not big fans of those things. Are they effective is the question? But members have been saying that they want to see more of a push against the company so.

How the company negotiators respond in the next few weeks could say a lot about the emphasis OUR Union may need to make on them. Personally I'd like to see those 7 Articles they're currently working on be TA'd by the end of the month. I said it last week. I'm past fed up with the pace from the company now. (The Company)
