All I'm saying is get it from the horse's mouth in writing before you react upon it.

I got it from the horses mouth and reacted upon it. Read my comment in the mechanics thread and that is exactly what I stated "remaining" articles. Post #1563

All I'm saying is the TWU may not dance the way anyone is used to or expects them to dance these days?

You may want to think about that.

cool glad someone is paying attention

I think the information on the pension is 100% wrong again the company has money to give I don't think they care if it goes towards a 401 or a pension. Let me be clear a pension like the IAMPF not a pension they would be obligated to fund .

Actually there are a few reasons I could see the Company wanting to stick with one retirement option rather than multiple. That option would likely lean more towards the 401k than the IAMPF honestly as well.

Remember two things for now though.

#1 unless the Company or either Union want to release the information publicly for now this is just rumors. (How do you readers lean on this rumor)

#2 this was only a first pass by the Company for the remaining articles. The Lawyers make money by playing games and stalling, so would anyone expect them to do otherwise?

So "if" the information is correct then it's somewhat hilarious in a way watching all the people freak on here for so long.

Oops.
Come on Weaasles who ever said the company was behind the pushing of the IAMPF? The ASS was set up by the AFL-CIO. The IAM & the TWU documented that they wanted to negotiate us into the IAMPF!!! So "IF" the company proposal does not include the IAMPF then that tells me the company wants their employees out of the IAMPF! So much has changed since this ASS fiasco was hatched, multi-co pension plans are failing, state sponsored employee plans are failing. The IAM has a vested interest into getting us (LAA -TWU) into their plan, the company does not. If this is true then this is a victory not an excuse to hide our heads in the sand.

I have been out of the loop for a while so I'am only going with the information I'am seeing on this thread
since we get little or no information from our union. So feel free to enlighten me on what the hell is going on with the contract

looks like nothing is going on
instead of picketing aug23 do the picketing where the NC and company are meeting.
that way you get both of their attention.
just a thought

That's a great idea if you can prove to me that the Unions control the Bank Accounts. If the Unions can't give us any improvements unless the Company signs on the dotted line, why would we want to protest them? That's kinda weird if you ask me.

BTW avi, even though I'm in MIA it's the NYC one I'm waiting to see. Oh boy Rock n Roll.

Chil all I got for ya outside of the last official update and a Peterson and Parker roadshow video's is just a bunch of rumors right now.

Don't know if it means anything anymore anyway but I think the TWU is now the Association Chair so I'm wondering if we may soon start to get a little more info?

On the IAMPF I have said numerous times that who knows if the Company wants to continue to fund it. I've also given my "opinion" where I think it will ultimately end up? "Choice"

They truly worship D0, at least, at the local Management level. MBRs aren't as immediate and plenty of explanations to explain away why bags missed.
True on D0 but MBR is Bible here and with this new megascan coming, they will expect less missed bags.

that's great, until they realize that american eagle doesn't report it's own numbers anymore, their abysmal numbers now drag our numbers down.
That's not true. They are reported and are way better than they used to be. Actually way lower vs some mainline stations.

Nice to hear the company is not jumping in with the IAM on the pension. That says a lot about how the company wants nothing to do with this pension fiasco. However if no pension, where is the talk (info) about a great 401K or other retirement packages. You guys must hold this asso. to the industry leading they promised and guaranteed the membership when they were forced onto you guys.

You just make it all up as you go along don't you. Are you really that dumb to understand that so far the IAMPF thing is a "RUMOR"

Jeez Louis what a dumbazz.

I have doubts this Avi works the ramp. If so maybe he or she is very junior and has not felt long years of pain that others have. PHX sounds awful.

This was pretty much the Management location on top of a 6-story parking garage for spying with 20x60 spotting binoculars on a tri-pod.

If it felt like a prison? Because in some ways it probably was.
