All I'm saying is get it from the horse's mouth in writing before you react upon it.
cool glad someone is paying attentionI got it from the horses mouth and reacted upon it. Read my comment in the mechanics thread and that is exactly what I stated "remaining" articles. Post #1563
I think the information on the pension is 100% wrong again the company has money to give I don't think they care if it goes towards a 401 or a pension. Let me be clear a pension like the IAMPF not a pension they would be obligated to fund .
Come on Weaasles who ever said the company was behind the pushing of the IAMPF? The ASS was set up by the AFL-CIO. The IAM & the TWU documented that they wanted to negotiate us into the IAMPF!!! So "IF" the company proposal does not include the IAMPF then that tells me the company wants their employees out of the IAMPF! So much has changed since this ASS fiasco was hatched, multi-co pension plans are failing, state sponsored employee plans are failing. The IAM has a vested interest into getting us (LAA -TWU) into their plan, the company does not. If this is true then this is a victory not an excuse to hide our heads in the sand.So "if" the information is correct then it's somewhat hilarious in a way watching all the people freak on here for so long.
Oops.

I have been out of the loop for a while so I'am only going with the information I'am seeing on this thread
since we get little or no information from our union. So feel free to enlighten me on what the hell is going on with the contract
looks like nothing is going on
instead of picketing aug23 do the picketing where the NC and company are meeting.
that way you get both of their attention.
just a thought

True on D0 but MBR is Bible here and with this new megascan coming, they will expect less missed bags. They truly worship D0, at least, at the local Management level. MBRs aren't as immediate and plenty of explanations to explain away why bags missed.
That's not true. They are reported and are way better than they used to be. Actually way lower vs some mainline stations.that's great, until they realize that american eagle doesn't report it's own numbers anymore, their abysmal numbers now drag our numbers down.
Nice to hear the company is not jumping in with the IAM on the pension. That says a lot about how the company wants nothing to do with this pension fiasco. However if no pension, where is the talk (info) about a great 401K or other retirement packages. You guys must hold this asso. to the industry leading they promised and guaranteed the membership when they were forced onto you guys.Come on Weaasles who ever said the company was behind the pushing of the IAMPF? I have doubts this Avi works the ramp. If so maybe he or she is very junior and has not felt long years of pain that others have. PHX sounds awful.
