i believe you. i work in a hub and envoy is a glorified swissport. i'm sure in small stations there is more commitment/motivation. there are some good envoy fscs here, but many are brutal...and drag everything down.

i see things all the time that should make aa mngt. be ashamed that the dismal eagle preformance was/is due to their mania for simple low-cost answers. envoy fscs get away with more than aa fscs and are not held as accountable as aa fscs...they know it, live it and get away with it here.
Yes that is true in some stations for sure. Here it gets really hectic. We operate like a mini hub. What station are you in again? The last hub I worked was CLT.

pjirish:

you do seem like a nice guy and i did sympathize with your lus 1/2 time accrued up to mid '90s PT/seniority issue. though..

...this is not the first time i bring something up and you quiz me about it; when you know exactly what i'm talking about. the first time was about wages, the second time was about seniority and this is the same thing.
Well crema, It's not a "quiz" it was a simple question. What does your statement mean/imply? And with the wages, you were proven to be inaccurate. So it is safe to say you are inaccurate on the seniority issue also. I was just looking for clarification by you regarding what you wrote. My bad for asking a question. since you work in ORD, maybe you can find ole Tim Nelson and have him explain your position to me since you have no desire to.There are some LAA employees that have gained seniority also. Take CLP for example, LAA CLP were never union, but now they are, and, carried over all of their time, you call that fair? Before you say LAA lost and LUS gained in the seniority intergration, you better check all your facts. I believe the seniority intergration was done fair and equitable. INCLUDING the CLP agents getting all their time.

i was wrong with the wages?

laa & lus were earning different wages pre-merger. around a $4/hr spread. after the merger, you did not get a stand-alone contract which brought your wages to $24+/hr???

last summer, the 'new aa' gave us all $30+/hr.

can you point to the inaccuracies?

Does anyone else know of plans for stations to have company sponsored "employee recognition" on this exact date? Catered food, cake, ice cream and party trinkets? I am not kidding!
Would that be at the IAM stations only?? 🙂

Throw in strippers in MIA and DFW and I know two protesters who will "forget" to show-up for the picket.

Hope you weren't thinking about me?

NOTHING will stop me from being at this protest/picket.

Is this a suggestion for the Company?

I'm also not kidding.

Chill out with your IAM / TWU comments AANOTOK. It does not promote unity. I'm only trying to determine if this is going to go on system wide.

Suggestion? No. Just found out this is what is planned on that date in my station. Just trying to establish if it is coincidence, station specific, or is a company system wide strategy. To imply this is a suggestion reflects how little you know about me. This is not about TWU vs. IAM. It is about knowing thy true enemy. Stand down WeAAsles. Is it system wide, just IAM represented stations or just coincidence? This is what I am trying to establish.
