Joe the Plumber's "ASSISTANT" Confronted by UNION Workers

OBAMA "Sorry UAW ! Thanks for voting me into office but, now that I'm the CEO, your all taking pay-cuts !

Not to fret fella's.

Once the 2010 congressional "landslide" is complete, and the new members are sworn in around Jan 1st, 2011, the then GOP "tamper proof" congress will have EFCA signed -sealed-DELIVERED, before you can change your calendars over to 2/11  🙁 :angry2:  :bleh:

I have to agree. The eye is off the ball, yet the threat still remains. When it hits our soil again, then game over for Obama.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair or beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. -Al Swearengen

How so? It wasn't game over for Bush when he let the terrorist strike us here at home. If fact the it got him 4 more years. Makes you wonder if letting terrorists strike is the key to staying in power.

Obama has let our defense guard down. Releasing detainees, and no longer acknowledging that there are forces out there hell bent on western destruction. As a recently retired, former career marine of 40+ years, there are many in the military right now, that are extremely worried how this will all play out under the new administration.

As far as I am aware, the Obama administration has only thus far released 2-3 detainees from G-bay. If that is evidence of "let[ting] our defense guard down," then I wold posit that our defense guard was let down long ago when Bush released approximately 500 detainees from G-Bay.

Now, if the current administration releases further detainees within the borders of the U.S., as has been suggested, then I would certainly agree that is worst than letting our guard down... it is hiring the enemy to be our guard.

Bush got 4 more years because of how he reacted to the events of 9/11. Most of you were more then willing to support the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. To the tune of a 91% popularity rating at one point.

However just like Bin Laden predicted the citizens grew weary of the war and his popularity tanked.

Fast forward to now and Bin Laden and his supporters are laughing their assets off at the infidel neophyte currently residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. There will be no real "Negotiations" with anyone with any clout from the Taliban, they will give him lip service and plan their next attack.

Obama will be blamed for focusing on domestic issues and ignoring terrorism just as Bush was hammered for spending to much time and money on Iraq.

Very well put, if the WTC were destroyed in 1993 then the american attitude may be much different. The public only reacts to what happens, not what was prevented. There has been many prevented terrorist attacks, but its not a sensational to the american mindset as if the event had actually happen.

Not really. Bush got support for his invasion because he was able to convince people that Iraq was responsible at least in part for the attacks on the US. When we all found out that Bush lied about that and other things, then the US lost interest in the occupation/nation building of Iraq on our dime to the tune of $1,000,000,000,000 a year. No idea how he got four more years. Somehow his slime machine was able to convince the populace that a 5 time draft deferment and a USAF guarding Indiana was better than a person who served in combat in Viet Nam. Karl Rove was able to sell his BS better than the Dems were able to. He was a shister who screwed this country over and left us holding the bag.

If there is an attack and word has it from Homeland Security, we may have one soon. Obama will be blamed for consorting with the enemy. He has been built up so much by MSM that he believes that he walks on water and sending out "can't we be friends" letter to Ahmedinejad, Chavez and Putin only time will tell if his lack of experience in foreign policy has put this nation in jeopardy.

As opposed to the numerous stunning foreign policy successes? Please. Talking to ones enemies cannot hurt anything.

When the US is attacked, the blame can be paced squarely at the feet of Bush/Cheney for doing nothing to find the people who actually attacked the US and has done very little to support the combat mission in Afghanistan.

BTW, can you list the foreign policy experience that Bush had before becoming POTUS?

Funny how the liberals fall back upon Bush to avoid having to answer for Obamas failure. Pretty pathetic IMHO.

Denial ain't just a river huh? I am pointing out the hypocrisy. Short of Sec of State I cannot think of anyone running for POTUS who would have foreign relations experience. Can you?

As for negotiations. Given that the preceding administration barely paid lip service to the concept I would consider it folly to pursue the same failed policy. I believe they define stupidity as doing the same thing over and over but expecting a different result.

Bush I was successful in the Gulf because he went in with a coalition and they stopped before they did something stupid as Cheney explained in his 1994 interview.

The previous poster seemed to imply that the current administration should have followed the previous ones failed policies.

Given that you are not able to provide any examples foreign policy I guess that answers my question ... at least from you.

Since Bush/Cheney did not keep their eye on the ball in Afghanistan and that is where Al-Queda is I fail to see how an attack can be blamed on Obama but it's a free world and everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Besides, Bush supporters have been blaming Clinton for 8 years. Get used to it.
