Personally, I don't think either party is in line with the goals of labor.
The difference as I see it is that the Republicans don't try to convince anyone otherwise, which I can't say that about the Demoncrats. Besides the examples above of interfering with the right to strike, Clinton pushed hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs to Mexico with the passage of NAFTA. Now, you've got Demoncrats trying to legalize letting the rest of Mexico come here to take over what few jobs still exist...
SO, ..... I'll continue to vote independently for candidates who stand for important things, like enforcing the borders, English as our only language, and a few more things which are probably more in line with the Dixie Democrats of the 60's than they are with the Democratic platform of 2006...
