So true~! Between BB and MOVE2, their vitriol is evident for all to read. They write nothing of substance and they truly do need meds.

Ah yes, its all west. Those innocent easties have no vitriol here, right Udder?

I see you've added so much to these boards.

And speaking of meds, what are you on these days? Any suggestions?

No reason for further adressing the issue of "Pure BS" for you, since that's been previously covered in depth.

An amazingingly astute observation, since they were indeed extracted from another thread on this forum. The extracted quotes are from those shown as written by them. What's your point?

"No matter, as the amusing point, after all the years of incessant insults and smug "certainty" is the following: BoeingBoy: "....The Nic award's status as final and binding remains in question." This has been well known by apparently all but the most staunch nic supporters for a long time. It is indeed worth a chuckle to see an admission of that from among those ranks 😉" If you're unhappy with: "The Nic award's status as final and binding remains in question".Take it up with the author of the statement.

Sigh!...This a complete waste of time.

Have a good day all. 😉

A new president’s message.

Clearly, there are elements of what the APA has already (in principle) agreed to that represent significant concessions to both West and East contracts, or to what has already been agreed upon in our own, stand-alone contract negotiations. Medical costs, Reserve Guarantee, Sick, Trip Rigs, Life Insurance, Min Day, Per Diem, Short-Term Disability – this is just a partial list of would-be givebacks. In total, the concessionary nature of these terms represent something that your NAC would have never agreed to, nor would the BPR have presented to you for ratification.

So boys what part of these give back come from the east contract? Would that be none! You guys have been saying for a long time that the west contract sucked but here we are going to give it away to American. Your contract must really suck if you are below even what APA is willing to do in BK.

This is the same stuff usapa was going to give away. So spare me the tough talk about the NAC never agreeing to a contract or the BPR presenting it. Usapa was never going to get to a contract.

You might find it useful to await the final buzzer before expressing such glee. I meant that in the same sense as I might say that the outcome of a Harlem Globetrotters game is "in question" until the final buzzer sounds since by some miracle their "opponent" might win....

Usapa was never going to get to a contract.

Not even a "cost neutral" contract that gives away the West's benefits to finance the east's desire to steal West seniority???? I know a little union busting lawyer that would disagree!!!!

Say it ain't so......

Seriously Clear...usapa is completely aware that it is never going to get a contract, that is what the LOA93 grievence was all about...of course they did need to do some info picketing to try and sway public opinion on the fact that they will never get a contract. Unfortunately for usapa, public opinion is pretty much...."aren't you the union built to renege on a deal that has caused all this labor strife in the first place"???? At least that is always the first question out of the reporter's mouth.

The eastern group was stupid to vote for Loa93. The westerners were even dumber not insisting on pay parity. Now Parker will take advantage. Especially the westerners will pay.
Parker is going for a long deal. AA pilots will take it. So will cash strapped easterners. The western are totally screwed. You are all hosed . Prepare for seven years of a crap deal. Franke must be pleased. It is a play right out of his book.

I had to laugh at Hummel's latest little missive. He still doesn't understand that he wasn't even invited to the party. He's sitting at the fold up card table in the other room with the Kids. He can thank Mike Cleary and the brilliant USA Today ads for such respect. USAPA can throw every resource it has at stopping this merger and Nobody.....NOBODY will even notice. He really should stop pretending to have a say/leverage. It makes him look like just another scab idiot.

Ferguson was trying his best to be diplomatic at the Leonidas meeting when he spoke of his hopes for the Hummel era. He could not hide his dissapointment with his leadership thus far.

Hummel is right up there with Scooter and Parker when it comes to substance and getting anything from a brown bag lunch.

They paid their dues. Are you willing to pay yours?
How? By having more time on furlough and LESS LOS than many AWA F.O.s that couldn't hold Captain out of PHX themselves? Sorry. What you're describing is theft... the scab kind.

I have to just laugh. Look at exactly how that reads, absent any mention of furlough time, (which certainly does not add to LOS)....but seriously folks; since when does LOS ever even enter into nicster philosophy? 😉

Be careful here...you're coming dangerously close to agreeing that the work years/LOS of a person should rationally be respected. Other nicsters may well become incensed, and seek you out with torches and pitchforks 😉

Allowing for additional condensing would provide: "By having......LESS LOS than many...........Sorry. What you're describing is theft... the scab kind."

I have no further questions for this witness 😉

I don't mind you having no further questions, it's your total lack of a cogent point that is insufferable. The unemployed go to the back of the bus. That's easy enough to understand isn't it? Nic. did.

All must then hope those still unfortunately furloughed from the west side "understand" that "easy" concept as well.

For: "it's your total lack of a cogent point that is insufferable." The point's quite obvious...you essentially made it yourself, but now choose to disregard it = years worked should matter. If that wasn't your thought...why be at all upset with any that have "LESS LOS than many AWA F.O.s"....?

There are no furloughed from the West side....

All West pilots have been offered recall as stated as the reciprocal of "AWA will not hire until all furloughed east pilots have been recalled" in the same TA that guarantees the Nic.

Soooooo.....The unfortunate pilots who where furloughed from the West when the company blatantly violated the TA to save east jobs at the West's expense while the scab union went so willfully along, retain their position on the NIc, and just might excercise further contractual rights and come back. In Odell's case, one number senior to Colello.
