So...if a person agrees with the nic and is supportive of the west..they're just and virtuous, if not...they " prove what scum they are every single day"? Umm...hmmm...I see...sigh!...just settle easily into the couch, take a few good long breaths..and let's first examine your fantasy of somehow magically knowing what "The vast majority of the east", as individual people, are even doing every day? After that...we can begin to look a bit deeper into your anger issues 😉

You don't have to agree with the Nic and be supportive of the west. You do have to honor your agreements and the law, whether you like it or not.

The number is much higher but they don't speak out.

They're almost all Captain's and see no point in flying with an even angrier F/O for four days.

It's one thing to set the tone and keep the flight deck civil. It is quite another to tolerate a situation so completely wrong and out of hand by doing nothing. These captains have probably suffered the most on the east with stagnated pay and benefits from a bankruptcy era. We hear nothing about any attempts to change things for the better over there.

I place AOL on about the same level of trustworthiness as I do some "Nigerian Prince" using spam emails to con money. I sure as hell wouldn't leave a wallet around any such creatures unguarded

Funny, though, you've allowed your own "Nigerian Prince" to try to run a pilots union and you trust them to negotiate a deal with the APA without a shred of influence. And is giving them free access to 2% of your wallet plus assessments really a substantial difference in judgement?

LS...to me, this isn't properly an east vs west issue at all, but rather a personal one. These people (and who can know how many they are) had/have ZERO business having that information.....period. The pathetic cheese grater that only laughably passes for any semblance of company security protocols is equally or more at fault as well. I can certainly understand your feelings towards usapa from what you've dealt with yourself, but again; I don't view this as truly any partisan issue, but one of personal security concerns. I'd be no more pleased had that info been improperly made available to any persons or institutions other than AOL, that I've equally no reason for trusting, and who's motives certainly don't coincide with my own interests.

The only partisan note I'll make is that the individuals involved with this, whenever asserted or even implied to be bastions of "Integrity", are purely cause for cynical laughter.....

Oh well, as I've seen no harm done as yet....just another one of life's interesting, little events.

Have a good one.
So now it is the companies fault.

What happen to those statements by some that the three were going to jail? Funny how the story has changed. Because usapa and all you east pilots were blaming the 3 guys but not the company. Go back and read the usapa updates that I posted. It was the 3 guys that usapa deposed not the company. It was the 3 guys that usapa went to the FBI, TSA and states attorney general to complain not the company.

Try and deflect the errors all you want but the record is clear. But it was usapa that went after the 3 guys and got all the east pilots whipped into a frenzy.

But the three guys do think you for the 11 months off with pay because of the east over reaction. It gave them plenty of time to run AOL and protect the west interest.

Pretty good rant there clear. I agree with a lot of it. With that in mind, I'm sure you took Eric Ferguson to task when he said that Cleary was the best thing for WEST pilots, right?

Indeed. Speaking of "blindly following".....

The point is that these people had ZERO business ever getting their grubby little hands on that information. The lack of more dire consequences for them changes that not one iota. To portray them as either victims, or noble and unjustly wronged individuals transcends all standard levels of hypocrisy, and is utterly absurd.

Given the expense they cost the company; is it even remotely possible that you're unable to understand that they likely weren't on management's best dressed list, and that the company did it's utmost to make it all go away, solely for their own benefit, and in doing so, covered up and/or obfuscated as much as they could?

Perhaps, just perhaps, these fine gentlemen were indeed too dense to extract the SSN's....but...they had/have them, as none can even pretend information once gained, just vanishes. If this had been personal information on all west pilots that went into the hands of the most vehemently anti-west people out east...individuals, wihout ANY legitimate reason for having said info....well...would you be thrilled.....?

I've no care as to how many "Integrity Matters" T shirts are ever printed up...there's ZERO reason for me or anyone out east to put any more trust into adorable little Fergie and the Boys than to offer the same faith towards a rattlesnake.....period.

For anyone to essentially brag about their not properly suffering severe consequences for their treacherous BS is most telling indeed....Perhaps, in lieu of any more "Integrity matters" shirts...consideration should be given for a new theme = "Tee Hee!...We got away with it!" on the front, with "Arent we cute?" on the flip side....just plain disgusting....

Or, perhaps the company went after them to placate the east crybabies demanding action. The company has been placating you for quite some time, culminating in the request from the court for declatatory judgement on a simple matter of contract law. My guess is that when the judge speaks, and reminds the company that they must do the right thing per the law that the days of placating the east will be finished forever.

1) Imagine my complete and total relief 😉

2) Fine. Show us all, whether you like it or not, where the law has irrevocably ruled the nic to be something not still in dispute....?

As for "your agreements"; the only promise or agreement I've made here is to never vote in favor of anything that's nic inclusive. I'll certainly honor that.

Or, perhaps the company went after them to placate the east crybabies demanding action.

None can be so utterly clueless as to imagine millions would be spent just to do that....or can they?

"The company has been placating you for quite some time.." Yes indeed, heck, just the injunction alone offers up full proof of that......doesn't it?

Indeed. Speaking of "blindly following".....

I am still waiting for an example of a west newhire being placed in front of an eastie with 15 years of solid service. Or were you "blindly following" the union mantra when posting that.

The law, boy wonder, demands that parties to a contract such as our TA abide by its terms. The law, oh verbose one, doesn't care whether said parties like it.

Millions spent to prevent a wayward east pilot group from going off the grid to harm the company (for many millions more) while seeking a court order against said pilot group. Court order obtained. Charges against west pilots dropped. Who knew?

Could one really be so clueless as not to consider this?

Hey, eastus. I would love to stay and chat but I have to leave the PHL hotel to go and do some of that really prime east flying that the west is stealing from you. Thank you, easties for your generosity in providing this rookie with such amazingly prime flying!

So now it is the companies fault.

But the three guys do think you for the 11 months off with pay because of the east over reaction. It gave them plenty of time to run AOL and protect the west interest.

1) What part of the following did you miss?: "The only partisan note I'll make is that the individuals involved with this, whenever asserted or even implied to be bastions of "Integrity", are purely cause for cynical laughter....."

2) How fortunate you are indeed to have such bastions of integrity at the helm of your little enterprise. Have fun with them.

3) "But the three guys do think you for the 11 months off with pay.." I'm sure they do, since they strike me as definately being of the "I want whatever I can get and I don't care if I ever earned it or not" mentality in the first place. On that note; it's wryly amusing that you would consider 11 months off with pay, for doing nothing productive whatsoever, as some triumphal accomplishment.....most telling indeed.
