Ignorance is indeed in plentiful evidence from you. An E6-B is a "state of the art" circular slide rule which can do as much serious math as any slide rule. After all, a slide rule is nothing but a means of multplying and dividing without resorting to long-hand - "seriouis" math indeed. Calling having such a device "the state of the art in personal computing", even in the context of the 50's or 60's, seems both pretentious and baffoonish "to any even slightly sane mind at least 😉"

Speaking of "the idiot" (as in Village here): Perhaps you entirely missed the whole point within the original exchange, (no real surprise possible there) which was to note shared aging and changes in the enviornment seen. Would you have imagined that noting first hand knowledge of original Hula Hoops to have equally amounted to some attempt at being "better than" anyone else? (Would that have resulted in you "brilliantly" pointing out that barrel hoops preceded them?) 😉 or perhaps the "joys" of vaccinations against polio?...or anything else indicative of an historical period, or of aging it's self?
