Interesting choice of words. in 2012, 111 million people tuned into the Super Bowl. In 2006, 608 million people tuned in to watch the FIFA finals in Germany, 280 million tuned in to watch the Euro games in 2004, ...etc


Soccer is a world wide sport played in nearly every country in the world. American foot ball is a basically an American sport. There are no world champion football teams.
