Operaations, You are a blossoming oasis midst a malignant desert crawling with vicious creatures in this desolate land. You are indeed a welcome sweet fragrance. I was beginning to wonder if there was anything good about Northwest. All I have received in this forum is insults and belittlement from these uneducated lost souls.

Thank You, Thank you for your post, it is very comforting to know that there are decent people reading my post and possibly getting some type of enlightenment out of them.

I am glad I can make you smile on a daily basis in these trying times.

Operaations does not work for NW. He works as an FA crew scheduler for AA. Most of the other regular posters here, such as Princess, are also AA employees and most of them are TWU AMT. A majority of them support AMFA.

I too have enjoyed KTO's perspective and appreciated his candor (even though scabs still repulse me on a visceral level).

If nothing else, KTO should serve as a wake-up call to the union hard-liners here as to what you are up against. There are thousands (millions?) more like KTO who are totally ignorant as to the concept of solidarity and are willing to do whatever it takes to further their own immediate and short-term goals, with no thoughts as to the effect of their actions on others. That's simply the reality of the U.S. labor market we live in today.

(BTW -- KTO -- since you asked, and it is a fair question: I don't work for NW either. Ex-UA F/A and union member here. But one who is more cogent of what is going on in the world and more willing to accept it than some of my former union brethren.)
