Maybe this headline from Air Transport Weekly (ATW) will kick up the interest...

American beats out Delta to get the only LAX-PEK daily service. (We won't mention that this is a tentative award...not final.)

I'm failing to grasp 😀 the negative for AA from tentatively being awarded LAX-PEK.
