Rumors of a layoff were all over the place today, anyone else hear anything?

I thought Continental just announced the recall of 200 pilots the other day. Were these just to replace retirees?

They have been giving people on termination warning their walking papers in TPA and North Houston reservations. So far thats all I heard.
