Lighter Beverage Carts saves $500,000

"Alaska Airlines said that by switching to lighter beverage carts, it will save $500,000 a year in fuel costs.
The new carts will be 20 pounds lighter than previous carts, Alaska Airlines said, and with about 2,500 beverage carts in its fleet, the weight savings total around 50,000 lbs."
