In the PI/US merger, the dreaded term "mirror image" was used to describe procedural decisions. PI would "mirror" all that US did, regardless. Needless to say, that was unpopular with customers and employees alike. A lot of good (and successful) PI practices went out the window. Some were eventually resurrected because they made sense (gasp!), but that took a long time. Maybe Tempe will realize that eventually and some of the things that worked well in the East will be restarted. I hope so for the customer's sake. That is, if we have any left. They've stopped short of using the dreaded "mirror image" term, but they might as well call a spade a spade.

You are exactly correct.

Unfortunately, I see the same procedure (just called something different) being employed with Tempe.

I know there was idea exchange, but, as with everything else in this, um, latrine, expediency ruled out logical thought so like hard-wired computer coding, changes are always unexpected and stupefying in their costs.

An ideal pilot group, go USAPA (not a bunch of sheep like ALPA) would ensure any executive bonus be applied first to such moronic "planning" costs. If that were the case, I predict dougie and his zoomer sidekick would shortly have to pay to work here and of course I would shed copious crocodile tears at the process.

The general flying public's perception is that this management team is incompetent. Unfortunately, the financials state otherwise, and Wall Street has a different set of standards.

I'll bet you dollars to donuts that Management cares much more about Wall Street than it does about the flying public's perception of their job performance.
You can thank the crooked bankruptcy court for screwing over the work force, [financials state otherwise ? ]

The financial state of this airline has nothing to do with the job performance of upper management.

Say it ain't so Joe...

If Continental bought US Airways out...say bye bye to anyone who doesn't have 15 years minimum AND bye bye Airbuses...

He's high on the harsh realities of life right now...mind him please while I go and take some kool aid 😉

Oh be still you hump. Why don't you refute the allegations instead of doing what you do? That to tough for you?

I'll leave at a time and place of my choice for reasons that make sense to me. Now go fetch me another Gin & Tonic and make it snappy

Thats EXACTLY The Kind Of Response I Expected From You... TIRED!! Just Like You....TIRED!!

Not that I think a CO/US merger is likely, but I thought CO's average FA seniority is 13 years.
