That's intelligent. If the cart was leading the horse, your airline would have been grounded a long time ago.
First of all, each employee group plays an integral part of the airline's operation. However, Pilots & AMTs are highly trained in a specific area, and are in much higher need of union representation to protect their jobs. Their skill set does not reach across other industries. On the other hand, a CS agent has a skill set that can be used in many industries: Hotels, insurance, banking, virtually any industry that offers "customer service". I'll bet the employees that work in many or most of those industries aren't unionized, so tell me, why are they at the airlines? .... Think about it... because they rode in on the union wave with the others! So in this case - like the rest of the world, I think if you don't like your CS job or the way your company treats you as a CS agent, you should make your way on out and use your skill set elsewhere. You'll be much happier in the end!
If you HATE the company, consider it the "enemy", want to work against it, for your own sake MOVE ON ALREADY!!! Besides, the more people that feel this way, the less likely the company can stay alive, so you'll be all looking for jobs anyway. Might as well get ahead of the curve.
