You would think that the staff of the minority leader of the Senate would have a staff with the common sense to verify a story before pursuing it to the DoD. It's not like his staff does not have access to computers and the internet. He is the minority leader so I would think he does receive briefings on things. Perhaps he or his staff could call someone in the DoD and ask "Hey, before I run this up the flag pole, is this chit really true?". All that aside, does it even pass the smell test.


May be I should send McConnell a email saying that I heard the DNC was being sued by the CPUSA. If they are dumb enough to believe that Gitmo prisoners are getting a full GI bennies, they are bound to believe my story.

I have searched a bit and cannot find anything to say she has not said it or to confirm it. To be honest, as much as I cant stand Bachmann, I cannot help but hope she did not say this because this would have to be in the top 5 dumbest things she has said.
