Mechanics get the matching 401k back today.

instead of getting the 1.5% IAM pension contribution, the company has agreed to reinstate the 2% match for the mechanics. Although fleet service is saving the company $49 million on a new pension, the mechanics are now not only keeping the 85 pt plan but now have the 2% matching reinstated.
Rampers are the only ones who got pension cuts and they will either vote to accept that or reject that tomorow.

Fleet gets the same 401k deal you get. The only difference is we got a profit sharing plan (ha!) that is part of the 401k deal, and y'all got a little more in the basic contribution. Incrementally, your's is a better deal, but they both SUCK!
