You guys need to keep in mind that I am on the inside of the fence. Most of the MAP's here are AMFA cardholders. They know all to well what was and is going on here and they know a lot more than you guys do.

NWA still needs a little over 300 mechanics. Is it stupid for them to advertise these jobs?

Dearest scab, so you think your the only one who is on the inside? Hmm, I think you need to "let go your ego" for just a second. The scabs like you who used to be AMFA (iam) cardholders, no longer are. They are scabs now, in bad standing, and will be for life.

NWA, needs at lot more than 300 more scabs. The daily operation numbers prove that. Along with the fact they are still trying to get to get AMFA members to cross into NWA scabland.

Still enjoying the free scab hotel and scab buses? That will be over soon. 😀

I am fully aware that this will be over soon. As far as I'm concerned, the sooner the better, I have thoroughly enjoyed my vacation here. It is now time to move on. I will for sure miss this job it is the cream of the crop in the A&P world. I am probably being foolish not rolling over but I have no desire to live here. I should go ahead and roll over then request a position at DFW when Northwestern and Delta merge, there is no telling how long that will take though. I just hate paying income taxes so I guess I'm stuck contracting.

I should go ahead and roll over then request a position at DFW when Northwestern and Delta merge, there is no telling how long that will take though. I just hate paying income taxes so I guess I'm stuck contracting.

So you don't pay income taxes and thats now your excuse for being a contract wrench gypsy scab? We have laws in this country for tax evasion and the penalties can be quite steep. your not only a SCAB but a THIEF as well, but of course we already knew that when you chose to STEAL a union mans job by crossing a picket line. PTO you are an utter disgrace to all hard working law abiding americans and rest assured pal your day of reckoning WILL COME, you may be enjoying the american dream off the backs of others for now, but LIFE has a funny way of catching up to you...... 😉

You can swing a wrench anywhere for what they are offering, plus be home at night and weekends. Or even work for JB, AIRTRAN OR WHATEVER.

I wouldn't advise anyone to work for a non-union shop that undercuts the wages and benefits of union contracts.

Sorry about the ...ern part I didn't mean to confuse you guys too much. That should have indeed read Northwest.

As far as tha income tax thing goes, I maintain two households which can be very expensive to do, my taxes are done by the book. As I said before, it is all about the split.

"Roll Over" I always wondered where that term came from. Dealing with you guys I now think I know where it originated.

PTO, you can tell the non-TX posters. They don't understand the concept of no state income tax and the concept of 'split' on income earned and the state income tax deducted in states such as MI.

Since you and Opus and now Borescope are engaged in a dialogue with mostly AA AMFA supporters based in states with income taxes, you are talking way over their heads in even bringing up the subject.

Hey Hackman, just curious. Is the amfa currenetly trying to hammer out another deal for their members at NW? I understand the last deal was rejected by the amfa leadership because something about violating the associations constitution. Iguess it is O.K. for the association to harm the membership with agreeing to forward a vote that would ultimately eliminate 9,500 jobs, but if you tread on amfa national there is no deal... Could you enlighten us on the topic 😉
