Merger Partner - ALL US Merger Talk Here

Wear skorts, fashionable but hickly.

🙁 They haven't arrived yet. I've received 13 boxes with scarves with baby airplanes, paper thin shirts, felt all weather coat, an out-of-date zip-up dress, oh, and a sweatsuit for the gym...but no skort....

Kirby and his wife were on my flight one time. I guarantee they remember me. Comfortable, they were not.
Were Kirby's rug rats running up and down the ailse? Heard about this flight last year. He was flying back from Nassau via CLT to PHX. On the CLT-PHX leg Kirby was forced to give up his first class seat to a CP who was bumped to coach. Long story short, CP passenger recognized Kirby and went nuts about being bumped to coach. Kirby gave up his seat to the guy and went to coach while his old lady and oldest kid stayed in FC. The two youngest kids (about ages 4-6) were sitting in coach alone prior to the move. Kirby made no attempt to sit near them. Kids ran around the ailse the entire flight pissing off the FA's. If the guy and his old lady can't control their kids like 95% of the families that travel on US Airways you think he can manage an airline right?

HAH! Good story. I was still a gate agent when Parker and a bunch of other baby killers came back from DCA, the plane looked like a frikin pig-sty.

So Kirby gave birth to chucky huh? HAHAH That's poetic justice. We put up with his crap, now he has 18 years of being legal guardian to those demons HAHA!

Maybe this can explain some of the disdain for the ff's. Management needs to sit their @$$ in coach anyway just so they can enjoy the "generous" seat pitch that they've created.

Well, it looks like the first domino in the potential consolidation chain may be getting ready to fall....

Leaders of the union representing 11,100 pilots at Northwest Airlines Corp. and Delta Air Lines Inc. have reached an agreement on consolidating the two groups of workers under a merged carrier, sources close to the matter said Monday.

This is heresy!

How could two ALPA represented groups arrive at a consensual solution to something as complex and career defining as this?

Maybe USAPA can reach a similar solution to the HP/US seniority quagmire if their legal opinions that the Nicolau Award remains moot with a new union are correct.

i would imagine it is much easier to combine two pilot groups from carriers with long histories, similar international/longhaul exposures, and comparable widebody fleet numbers.

much unlike the circumstances in the nightmare HP/US merger, where the longest HP pilot has only been flying for the company for twenty something years...

If he booked it through USAirways Vacations, I'm sure it was overpriced and non-refundable.

Dude,
I friggin' can't believe you are still posting on the Internet after the you-know-what. After all that you're still here? No offense, but when is your old lady going to slap you or the computer with a frying pan?

Did you know that you can gain 2 inches in height with a well place bump on the noggin'?
