Merger success?

I am no longer a part of US Airways and all I have to say is I wish you all the best..... I had 3 very good years at US but the #### has hit the fan and Im glad to be able to Hold a line have weekends off and have a life...... I feel for those of you that are about to be replaced and I feel for EVERY other Employee of USAIR that is suffering !!! I will be watching and wishing you all the best !!!!

Do you understand that the web site for all intents is our sales outlet? If it doesn't work, then how many actually try to call someone instead of just booking another airline.

a320driver doesn't know what Customer Service is and what a customer is. I am flabbergasted that she knows how to turn a computer on!

People get time out errors or faulty screen error codes, generally will be scared off using their Credit Card to purchase their ticket. They don't know where it will end up. Thus they would go to another carriers web site. If the fare is compatible, bang, lost a customer.

What I would like is a contact in IT that I can contact via e-mail or phone, describe exactly what happened so they can issues a "Trouble Ticket" and help them get the problems fixed.

FFOCUS has a history of supporting US Airways IT department in CCY. I had regular conversations with Mark Kuhn, Shawn Kordes & Travis Sarkees. Together these three gentlemen and about 20 FFOCUS members worked TOGETHER with US IT to help get the website cleaned up.

One of our members uncovered a glitch that saved US Airways Millions by their estimate.

I have sent over 50 PDF's of web errors to Tempe and not so much as a drop dead, go to hell from them. I don't want stuff free, I want what I PAY for to work
The old Usairways(and AWA) is DEAD CCY is GONE get over it if you were flying SWA you would get 3 stops before your destination and a couple cans of soda and nuts and thats it why because it is a LCC if you keep thinking you are going to get the old usair product your not it didnt work they lost money this is reality. usairways is in a LCC market now no frills cheap seats less F/C seats but both sides have good people in postion that matter the ones taking care of you people
 
there is a lot that wont be told. anything can be made adjusted to look great while avoiding the problems. the merger is looking more and more like a smoke and mirror project.

it does not matter what event it is, but when you go looking to try to find someone to contact on whatever issue it may be, it's either put you in the run-around mode, or have now way to get in contact with anyone. I guess you could say smart call by LCC, you cant have problems if no one can complain :up:
 
FYI, WN has the SAME number of connections coast to coast as US does from PHL along with a N/S or 2 if memory serves. You were.are your normal rude arrogant self again. You asked what I wanted and I responded in a polite and pleasant manner. That wasn't good enough for you to respond in kind. NONE of what you posted has a single thing to do with my response.

Why don't you post on here just how close the "Flying Trailer Park (AKA HP)" was to closing its doors and then tell me how you competed with SWA? While you're at it why not tell us about the near grounding by the FAA? Don't recall US or WN being minutes from being grounded over MTC paperwork!!

Fact is you don't compete with WN. You offer less for more and that's not competing, it's smoke and mirrors and if you study how & where HP & WN fly there isn't as much overlap as one might think.

Don't listen to them....As a gate agent in PHL..on the Sabre System, I would do my upgrades for Chairman, Platinum's, Gold and Silvers before they got to the gate. They would walk up to the gate asking if they cleared First and I would hand over their boarding passes already generated for them. It was great to see a smile on their faces because some of us preplan and truly liked to take care of them. Unfortunately, now because of Shares a lot of things I used to do I can't do anymore, but we will try our best.
 
I feel bad for those people that took ill while at work from the stress. I don't think that you can say this merger is "bad" after just a couple of hiccups that involved passengers. i have to admit it was a huge!!! deal, but it's not the end of the world.

For everything that goes wrong in PHL or CLT, good things and uneventful things are happening all around the system at the same time.
Are you that out of touch? I hope you are not in any decision-making position.
 
320driver...you are unbelievable!!!!This is how you ensure the success of our company??? :blink: by insulting our FF members....Personally I would like to thank Pineybob for all his past support and his support of the east agents on the website....over and over he has been supportive of the "old USAIRWAYS" I apologize I can no longer give the service I am accustomed to giving. Its plain to see the difference in attitudes in the east vs west..Yes there are agts in the east who need customer service retraining...but for everyone of them you will find an equal number like me who go above and beyond..If this reflects the attitude of the west ie "dont let the door hit you on the way out" then we are in bigger trouble than I thought...
