IMHO, there is something inherently wrong when you have to pay / give money to (bribe?) a company to "create" jobs. Especially Bombardier! Not because they're Canadian (foreign), but because of their history. If the state and local governments have too much money, pay down the debt, or spend it / invest on something else or better yet give it back to the taxpayers. That is a better way to help the local economy.

I'm just watching from the other side of the state line, but what strikes me as funny is that government money spent to create "works programs" such as existed after the depression are a bad "socialist" thing to do...Better to give the millions to a corporation, then waive their taxes (raise them on the worker though) and find that for every dollar spend, 50 cents made it to the executives pockets and the other 50 went to creating jobs
